How to prevent the toilet from freezing in winter
1. In winter, in order to prevent freezing, please drain the remaining water when not using the toilet.
The method and steps of drainage are as follows: close the water inlet valve, remove the drainage bolt after loosening it, and tighten the drainage bolt after draining the remaining water, otherwise it will cause water leakage. There will be accumulated water at the reverse bend of the toilet, which can be sucked out with a sponge rag and a water pump to avoid long-term freezing and cracking of the toilet.
2. In addition to draining water, pouring antifreeze into the water tank or mixing alcohol and salt in the water can reduce the freezing point of water and effectively prevent freezing.
3. If all the electric heaters have been put into low-temperature operation, especially if the heating system is turned on in the bathroom to ensure that the toilet will not freeze, there is no need to add antifreeze to the toilet.
If the toilet is in a cold room, it is easy to freeze, so try to install the toilet indoors for indoor heating.
In the freezing weather, don't pump water, just turn off the water pump switch and rinse it with bottled water.
What if the toilet freezes?
It's frozen, so only warm water can flush the toilet. Warm water is kept at about 50 degrees normally, so don't use boiled water, otherwise the toilet will burst easily because it suddenly turns cold and hot.
The toilet is frozen and cracked. What if there is a small crack?
The most direct way is to replace the toilet with a new one. If the budget is limited, you can use ceramic glue or marble glue.
1. Before ceramic bonding, first use 100 ~ 120 emery cloth to polish the surface of bonded parts, and then use acetone to remove oil.
2. Ceramic glue dries quickly at room temperature. Generally, 600g of glue is used at a time. Please use it within 30 minutes. It is best to use a container with a large bottom area. Please be prepared before use, and use as much as you want.
3. In a clean and dry container, accurately weigh the two components of AB with a drug balance in proportion of 5: 1. Stir well and set aside.
4. Spread the glue evenly on the processed ceramics (the amount of glue should be appropriate). Remove the extruded residual glue.
Tips for using and maintaining toilets
1. If warm water is used to flush the toilet, the water temperature should be controlled at 1℃-45℃. Don't pour overheated water into the toilet to avoid bursting. Don't flush the easily blocked items such as newsprint and paper urine pad into the toilet.
2. If it is blocked, immediately remove it with a leather suction device. To prevent damage and water leakage, don't hit the ceramics, and avoid violently hitting the cover plate and the seat ring. Do not use steel brush and strong organic solution for cleaning, so as not to damage the glaze of the product and corrode the pipeline.
3. In order to keep the toilet clean and flush normally, please clean the pipes and flushing holes with a brush and soapy water or neutral detergent at least once a week.
4. Please clean the filter screen at least once a month to prevent the water tank from entering slowly or not, which will affect the normal use.
5. Don't use chlorine-containing cleaning agent in the water tank, otherwise it may damage the equipment in the water tank, resulting in leakage or damage to the building structure.
