Feng shui master
This cemetery has existed since the Ming Dynasty. At that time, it did not occupy an area of more than 2,000 mu. At that time, the Cao family hired a Feng Shui master to find the treasure house of Feng Shui. At that time, the beautiful scenery there was very good, so the Cao family decided to build an ancestral grave here, hoping that with the help of geomantic omen, future generations would enjoy all the splendor, so there was such a huge ancestral grave.
Later, a descendant of the Cao family received special care from Emperor Kangxi. This man is Cao Chuan. Every time he leaves the palace, he not only stays in the palace, but also lives in Cao Chuan's house. Not only that, Cao Chuan's son went directly to imperial academy to study because he attached great importance to him. If I had known that only the children of princes and nobles could go to imperial academy to study at that time, it can be seen that the Cao family really enjoyed the supreme favor. Later, Kangxi inscribed "Xiang Yan Puji" as a plaque and hung it on Cao Jiazu's grave.
Therefore, when Cixi and Guangxu wanted to build a railway, they had to bypass Cao Jiazu's grave. During the reign of Cixi, Emperor Guangxu's railway construction route just included Cao's ancestral grave, so the supervisor in charge had to dig Cao's ancestral grave. But the Cao family stopped him and sued Cixi. When Cixi saw the plaque given by Kangxi, she naturally found it difficult to dig the grave of Cao Jiazu, so she later changed the route of railway construction.
