Why does the corn that is sprayed with Corn Tontian Bao not curl its leaves after the weather encounters drought?
Under drought conditions, plants are in a state of water shortage, and endogenous hormones related to stomatal regulation in the plants change. For example, if the ABA content increases, in order to reduce the evaporation of corn water, the stomata of the leaves are unevenly closed, causing the leaves to adaptively curl, thus reducing their own water evaporation, which shows that the corn has strengthened its self-protection function. After spraying corn tontianbao products, the corn root system becomes larger, the root vitality is enhanced, and the number of aerial roots and lateral roots increases. Therefore, the scope of the corn root area increases, and the water sources that can be absorbed and utilized by corn increase, and the root system's ability to absorb water increases. The root system absorbs more water and supplies it to the above-ground leaves. Therefore, under drought conditions, the leaves of corn fields sprayed with Corn Tontianbao will not curl. However, if there is further drought, when the soil moisture content drops to a very low level (the relative moisture content drops below 30%), the corn sprayed with Corn Tontianbao will also curl in order to protect itself, resulting in a much lower degree of curling.
