It has incomplete annual adjustment performance. The dam site controls a basin area of ​​18,161 square kilometers, accounting for 21% of the Wujiang River basin area. The average annual flow rate is 343 cubic meters/second, and the average annual runoff is 10.89 billion cubic meters. The average annual rainfall is 1102 mm. The annual average temperature at the dam site is 16.7°C.
