The geographical location of Nanjing Pukou Dianjiangtai

It comes from the northwest to the east, like a dragon with its tail wagging, stranded on the land by the eastward moving Yangtze River, with its dragon head just beside the highway overlooking the Yangtze River, silently looking back on the past ... This is the "pointing platform" known to everyone in Jiangbei District of Nanjing. According to historical records, it should be called "China's enemy station", and "directing Taiwan" is related to legends. When it comes to China's enemy station, it is inevitable to mention the commanding station. Although there is no detailed written record in the county annals, it has spread far more widely than the Chinese enemy stations.

Up to now, there are two well-known legends about "Dianjiangtai" in Pukou area. It's a coincidence that these two legends are all related to people named "Han", and both of them are handsome men of the whole army. One of the legends is:

There is a Tibetan soldier cave under the Dianjiangtai, which leads to the back of Langya Mountain in Chuzhou, Anhui Province. At the end of the Qin Dynasty, when Chu and Han contended, he established Huaiyin Hou Han Xin, who had made great contributions to the Han Dynasty for Liu Bang, and met Xiang Yu, the overlord of Chu. Xiang Yu is self-sustaining and heroic, "pulling out the mountains with great strength", and wants to fight Han Xin. At that time, Major General Han Xinbing was weak and was no match for Xiang Yu. How to retreat from the enemy? Only outwit. Han Xin boarded a platform on the top of Puzi Mountain and said, "I have thousands of troops here. Are you my opponent?" Xiang Yu didn't believe it, and said, "Seeing this tiny place, how can there be heavy troops? Only seeing is believing." So Han Xin waved the flag and commanded a group of soldiers and horses with fresh uniforms to March past Xiang Yu's front line and go around the northwest of the back hill. Han Xin's military forces kept flowing, and they walked for three days and three nights. People can't help but ask: "How come there are so many soldiers and horses in Han Xin at once?" It turns out that these military forces all went in from the cave behind Langya Mountain in Chuzhou, and came out from the Tibetan soldiers' cave under the platform. This cycle makes people feel that there are really thousands of troops. Xiang Yu witnessed Han Xin's soldiers and horses haven't walked for three days and three nights, and he was scared to retreat without fighting, which is also the foolhardy place of the overlord. The mountain is surrounded by water, and it is named as a big round-backed chair because the middle of the top of the mountain is low and the periphery is high. It is called Chair Mountain because of its shape. Presumably, it is also the land of Feng Shui Long Mai. Snake Mountain is located near Daqiao Village on the north bank of the Yangtze River. It is like a snake, with its head facing north and its tail facing south.

Taishan Temple

Xuanhua Mountain in Taixi Road, Taishan Street, Pukou District] Taishan Temple was built in the early Ming Dynasty, formerly known as "Dongyue Temple". It was originally dedicated to "Dongyue Emperor", that is, Huang Feihu, the Taoist Taishan God, and later to Huang Feihu's daughter "Bixia Yuanjun". Influenced by Buddhism, Taishan Temple has gradually changed from the original Taoist place to the worship of Buddha statues, supplemented by the worship of Taoist gods, and the integration of Buddhism and Taoism. The Taishan Temple built in the early Ming Dynasty was destroyed by the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom during the Xianfeng period of Qing Dynasty. In the fifth year of Tongzhi (1855), the monks in the temple were rebuilt, but only the middle hall and the back hall were built; In the fifth year of Guangxu, Huang Shilin built 132 steps of bluestone from the foot of the mountain to the entrance of the middle hall; In 25 years, Taishan Temple was rebuilt once. In 1952, the statue of Taishan Temple was smashed and burned by farmers at the foot of the mountain, leaving only the empty temple. Later, Taishan Temple was a military camp until the mid-198s. In 1986, Shi Nongyue of Nanjing Jiming Temple came here. She presided over the restoration of the buildings of Taishan Temple in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and successively built 5-meter-high simple mountain gate, a facade room beside the mountain gate and a section of courtyard wall beside Taixi Road, which officially resumed Buddhist activities. Since 1999, Taishan Temple has rebuilt and expanded its original buildings. Taishan Temple has existing buildings such as the gate, the Shanmen Hall, the Ursa Major Hall, the Tibetan Scripture Building, the East-West Gallery, and the ancient well Xuanhua Well. In the history, there is Mount Tai Temple Fair every year on March 28th of the lunar calendar, which is Huang Feihu's birthday. Three days before and after the temple fair, people from four townships and eight towns gathered here, went to the temple to pray for incense, exchanged agricultural and sideline products and watched cultural performances. When people carried the gods of Emperor Dongyue and mother Taishan "out to patrol the streets", dragon dancing, lion playing, floating boats and walking on stilts followed closely, and firecrackers and drums were heard all the way, and the temple fair reached its climax. Sometimes, people will also carry out the Lord of the city god temple in the west and the bodhisattva statue of Dutian Temple in the north to patrol the streets together. In recent years, people still flock to the temple fair every year to make pilgrimages and pray. In 1983, it was announced as a district-level cultural relics protection unit, and in 26 it was announced as a municipal cultural relics protection unit. In order to actively promote the standardization, legalization and modern management of water conservancy project management units and ensure the safety of the project, according to the requirements of the Municipal Water Conservancy Bureau, this year, Pukou District Water Affairs Bureau has conscientiously done a good job in establishing the standard of Zhujiashan River Gate Management Office, formulated an implementation plan, specially set up a leading group, organized the heads of water management units to go out for investigation and study, and steadily advanced and upgraded the software and hardware in an all-round way according to the assessment standard of water conservancy project management. Zhujiashan River Gate Management Office became the first water management unit in the city to meet the standards of municipal water management units.
