China is very big, and there are many types of agricultural areas.

In the eastern monsoon region of China, farming is the main industry. In the south of Qinhuai line, monsoon paddy field agriculture is the main industry. In the north of Qinhuai Line, wheat and corn directly planted in dry land are the main industries. This kind of agriculture is called commodity grain agriculture.

Northwest China is an arid and semi-arid temperate grassland, and the temperate desert area is dominated by animal husbandry. Inner Mongolia prairie is a pasture for animal husbandry, and Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is dominated by extensive nomadic industry.
