Why is the "Aotai" line the hiking route with the highest mortality rate in China?
As we all know, the higher the altitude, the thinner the air is, and many people will have altitude sickness when they arrive at the plateau, not to mention the dangerous ridge with an altitude of more than 3,000 meters like the Aotai Line. Even though the Austrian-Pacific Line is listed as a dangerous area by the state, there are still many people who do not listen to dissuasion, and these people often have a strong curiosity. In recent years, countless people have died because of extreme sports. Although hiking on the Olympic-Pacific line is not as exaggerated as extreme sports, it is not much different. Due to the rugged mountain road and thin air, many people will have altitude sickness during hiking, which will lead to physical discomfort and increase many risk factors.
Secondly, from the weather, the weather on the Austrian-Pacific line is unpredictable, with heavy snow and scorching sun. If an explorer with poor physical performance goes, it is easy to cause irreparable consequences because of physical discomfort. Moreover, in snowy weather, explorers are easy to get lost because of blurred visibility. There are only two consequences of getting lost, either lucky enough to meet the rescue team or staying on the Olympic-Pacific line forever in snowy days.
To sum up, the reason why the Aotai Line is the hiking route with the highest mortality rate in China is because of the extremely high altitude and bad weather. Compared with other mountains, the mountain road is rugged, and a series of reasons can easily lead to the death of explorers.
