Is Huanghuagou fun in Inner Mongolia? Transportation route guide
The prairie is fresh and open, and is very popular among tourists. The endless prairie broadens people's horizons, and it's really refreshing to breathe the fresh air here. Let’s learn about Huanghuagou in Inner Mongolia!
There is a winding valley at the western end of Huitengxile Grassland, more than 10 kilometers long and about 300 meters deep. This is Huanghuagou, which is known as the famous Sichuan beyond the Great Wall. The environment and climate here are unique, with an average summer temperature of 18 degrees Celsius, a vegetation coverage rate of more than 90%, and dozens of species of flowers. Because the summer here is cool and pleasant, many emperors including Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, Tuoba_, the founding emperor of the Northern Wei Dynasty, and Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty spent their summers here.
As the largest wind power capital in Asia, thousands of windmills standing on the grassland are unique landmarks of Huanghuagou. Since this is the capital of windmills, strong winds are a feature. Coupled with the special terrain, summer here looks like autumn in the south. So, when traveling here, don’t forget to bring thick clothes, and don’t sneer just because it’s summer!
Huanghuagou, the core scenic spot of Huitengxile Prairie, is full of yellow flowers in summer, with numerous windmills and ferocious war horses, making the natural scenery and cultural characteristics of the river here very remarkable. Summer is indeed a rare summer resort.
At the bottom of the ditch, there are many interactive experience projects such as grass skiing, rafting, glass suspension bridge, prairie hunter shooting range, prairie go-kart, amusement park, snack street and so on. It’s not a hassle to spend half a day here. Huanghua Town, Niudangou Geopark, and Huanghuagou Geopark are the highlights of the scenic spots and must be visited. It’s fun to rent a bicycle for 20 yuan and ride at the bottom of the ditch.
You can ride animal-drawn cars, sightseeing cars, ropeways, and small trains in the scenic area for free. Don't go to the end stupidly, otherwise you will be very, very tired. Walking along the grassland go-kart, you will reach the animal-drawn cart. Camels and horses work in shifts, and which car you take depends on your luck. Take the animal-drawn cart all the way to the sightseeing station, from the West Wagon Station to Niudangou, and then to the No. 3 cableway. If there is strong wind, the ropeway will be closed and you can only hike up the mountain. Fortunately, we were sitting in the cable car and enjoying the endless changes of light and shadow in the prairie canyon.
In Zuihuanghuagou, there are vast grasslands, galloping horses, and beautiful and enthusiastic herdsmen in Cobanawa. They ride horses during the day, eat roasted whole sheep at night, have bonfires, and live in yurts! Come here, relax and enjoy yourself!
