The method of pasting couplets:

1, prepare couplets first. First find the upper and lower couplets, left and right, and set the position with horizontal batch. From experience, don't wait for the brush to stick to the paste before finding a position temporarily. Awkward.

2. On the wall and the head of the gate, the place where couplets should be posted should be marked with a pencil. Height, left-right spacing, etc. This can be measured with a ruler, or you can let others see the position when you post it.

3. Prepare tools and paste them. You can mix them with white flour and water and put them on the fire. Turn off the fire to cool when it sticks, and then prepare a bucket and brush. If the couplets are small, you can also touch them with tape.

4. The walls are clean. When you get to the wall where couplets are to be pasted, clean the old wall with a broom first, and there can be no floating soil, otherwise it will not be pasted firmly.

5. Brush the back of the couplet and the wall to be pasted, and then paste it directly according to the marks drawn before. If the couplets are small, you can also directly tape the four corners. It's just not as strong as paste. You can also stick it on the back with double-sided tape.
