What are the upper and lower hexagrams?
First, why should we divide it into "upper, middle and lower"?
The Book of Changes does not say that hexagrams are divided into upper hexagrams, middle hexagrams and lower hexagrams.
Among the six hexagrams, there are two kinds: the upper hexagram and the lower hexagram, which are aimed at the composition of a six hexagram. In other words, the next three hexagrams is a classic, and the next hexagram is also called the inner hexagram. Shang San Yao is a classic hexagram, called Shang Yao, also called Wai Yao. This is obviously completely different from the meaning of the upper, middle and lower hexagrams referred to in the question.
However, the saying that "the divination of the upper master and the lower divination" does exist in a few forecasting applications. It roughly means that upper divination is a kind of divination for good luck or good luck. For example:
Gangua, because of its word "Yuan Henry is true", may be considered as a kind of divination that everything goes smoothly and prosperously. It is regarded as a kind of divination.
Strong divination, thunderous, deafening, conducive to action. But ray was disturbed by the alarm. So some people think that this is the middle or upper divination.
Learning from Kangua, because it is dangerous to talk about floods, is considered as the next divination, or even the next divination.
Secondly, it is not strict to divide hexagrams into "upper hexagram, middle hexagram and lower hexagram".
This division uses hexagrams, but it is mainly based on the hexagrams in Zhouyi.
Gua Ci, Yi Ci Ji, then Ji; If the hexagrams are fierce, they are fierce. The whole Kyrgyzstan is the best, the second Kyrgyzstan is in the middle, and the next Kyrgyzstan is the second. This is actually not desirable.
After the formation of hexagrams, it may also become a common saying or common cognition of the subjects. But it's really vague. Are measured by people who understand.
Fortune-teller, when also, when also, powerful, due to the situation, everything is ready. To cover, read, interpret and use hexagrams is not to use one hexagram or basically not to use the whole picture of one hexagram, but to compare the process with what is sought, and get guidance or hints for action, so that the confused seeker can have a little consciousness. Of course, its rationality or realization depends on the subsequent personal feelings.
So good luck and bad luck coexist in this process. Good luck has its size, and bad luck has its urgency. This does exist. But good luck and bad luck always exist and transform each other. Is it lucky to get a lucky divination? Do you have to be fierce to get the evil divination? This may be misleading.
If you don't achieve great success, it may be bad luck when you are lucky, or it may be a sign of good luck when you are in trouble. You can't look at divination in a few words, otherwise it doesn't conform to the way of change, and it may also make divination lose its guiding role.
Later, people also invented many divination methods, such as copper coin divination, bamboo stick divination, Taoist divination and so on. Either way, it has a lot to do with the Book of Changes theory. Therefore, shaking the hexagrams is the beginning, and what we think after getting the hexagrams is the key. Today, take the wind and the earth as an example to teach you how to read hexagrams. Whether you have the foundation of the Book of Changes or not, you only need to follow these six steps, and you will easily understand the meaning of hexagrams and become a master after mastering them skillfully.
Step 1: Find this hexagram in the Book of Changes.
After a hexagram comes out, we will open the Book of Changes as soon as possible. It would be better if we had a Book of Changes card around us. We know the serial number of this six-pointed star by comparing the contents of the card, which is actually a process of strengthening memory. For example, the wind is a divination, and the wind is a divination, with a serial number of 5; The land is Kun, and the serial number is 8, so the terroir view is 58.
Step 2: Look at the hexagrams and characters.
Gua Ci is the main program of this hexagram, and Yi Ci represents the changes in each stage of this hexagram. Divination is the general direction and synthesis, while righteousness is the detail of each link. If you settle down, you will protect yourself wisely. For example, when we look at the divination in the wind, the word of the divination is "guàn", which is not recommended. If you have a blessing (yóng), it means that you should wash your hands before offering sacrifices and always keep a respectful and pious expression when offering sacrifices.
This hexagram is obviously a way of etiquette, and its extended meaning is interpersonal communication. Further, we should cultivate our ability to observe and foresee the future, plan ahead and make full preparations. We need to look at each of the six hexagrams and see if there is any movement when we shake the hexagrams. We need to look carefully at the movement, because the secret is hidden in the movement.
Step 3: Look at the hexagrams.
Divination is the symbol of divination as a whole. The Book of Changes is divided into four disciplines, namely, image, mathematics and physics, in which the image is to see the meaning of divination. It takes a lot of imagination to read hexagrams, so we should consider problems in an eclectic way and not stick to the rules. Conservative people will feel that they have no ideas when reading hexagrams.
For example, in the view of local customs, there are two yang hexagrams on the top and four yin hexagrams on the bottom. The upper one looks like two adults, while the lower four represent four children. Children are eager to grow up quickly, but adults want to go back to childhood, look at each other and admire each other.
Of course, those two young people can also represent the demeanor of a big country, and the following represents the worship of a small country to a big country. The upper represents masculinity and gentleman, and the lower represents courtiers and villains.
Step 4: Look at the number of hexagrams.
The number of hexagrams is the changing law of hexagrams. For example, the number of hexagrams is gradually increasing, and this process is constantly changing from yin to yang at the beginning. By the ninth five-year plan, he really became a gentleman.
Step 5: Look at the mutual and wrong hexagrams in the hexagrams.
Learning the Book of Changes requires comparing the two hexagrams of Gankun. In fact, observing divination means doing the following four changes, and Kun's above two changes. The bottom of the dry pulp changes from yang to yin, which means that the yin is strong and the yang is weak, while the Kun pulp is just the opposite, and the yang is strong and the yin is weak, so there are many wonderful relationships that need us to understand.
Mutual divination means hiding divination in divination, such as the view of local customs, which contains divination, Kun divination and a peeled divination, which we should consider.
Step 6: Finally, look.
If there is any movement, be sure to watch it in detail. The hexagrams are divided into upper hexagrams and lower hexagrams, with the upper hexagrams representing the outside and the lower hexagrams representing the inside. If the upper divination moves, the external things are at work, while the lower divination moves, indicating that the internal things play a leading role.
