Taoism is good, Buddhism is terrible. I suggest you become a monk. There are many temples, but I suggest you don't go to small temples. Many small temples have changed their taste. You should go to Wutai Mountain, or a model Dojo like Xinyi Temple, yunmen temple, Lingyanshan Temple and Putian Guanghua Temple!

A real temple accepts apprentices and does not require a diploma. As long as you really hate leaving the Three Realms and like Buddhism, Master will accept you.
