Generally speaking, the early warning of heavy air pollution in various places is divided into four levels, which are blue warning, yellow warning, orange warning and red warning from light to heavy.
blue warning
When the air quality is blue warning, the elderly, children, patients with respiratory tract and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases should go out as little as possible, and schools should also minimize outdoor activities. In addition, measures will be taken to reduce emissions, such as taking public transport as much as possible, stopping and turning off engines in time, implementing dust control measures at construction sites and other places, strengthening road cleaning and reducing traffic dust.
Yellow warning
When the air quality is yellow and above, compulsory emission reduction measures will be taken. The higher the level, the more emission reduction measures will be taken. The compulsory emission reduction of yellow warning generally includes: increasing the intensity of road cleaning, stopping outdoor spraying and painting on construction sites, slope protection and shotcreting, and demolition and cutting of buildings.
Orange alert
On the basis of the yellow warning, the orange warning will increase measures such as stopping production and limiting production of pollutant discharge enterprises, and implement a ban policy on low-emission standard vehicles and construction waste, muck and gravel transport vehicles.
red alert
When the air warning is red, it means that the air is seriously polluted. In terms of protective measures, on the basis of orange warning, we will further increase the number of enterprises that stop production and limit production, and implement policies such as limiting the number of motor vehicles with single and even numbers. At the same time, it is suggested that primary and secondary schools and kindergartens take protective measures such as flexible teaching or suspension of classes.
