Beihai Baita annex building
There is a small hall in front of the tower, which is called "Good Cause Hall". It is a wood-like glazed building with double eaves and a width of 4.4 meters. The top is a circular pavilion-type copper tile with gold plating. The lower floor is square, covered with green glazed tiles and decorated with yellow. There are five three-way cloud lattice fans, four bronze doors and four glazed doors on the front gable. There used to be a bronze-gilded "Great Wade King Kong" Buddha statue in the temple (the legend is that Manjusri Bodhisattva incarnates 36 hands and 36 eyes), and its common name is "Zhenhai Buddha". It is said that there is a sea eye under the White Pagoda, which can be used to suppress the flood. The Buddha statue was destroyed in the Cultural Revolution. The inner wall of the temple is inlaid with 455 glazed tiles with Buddha statues.
