What do you think of the Book of Changes?
The Book of Changes once said: If you praise the Book of Changes, you must cite the number of heavens and the earth. If you change by the way of ghosts and gods, you will know the source of the Book of Changes. It can be seen that Confucius himself admired the Book of Changes. But I don't think Confucius used it as a tool to predict bad luck, because Confucius didn't describe it too much in history. It is to sort out the Book of Changes and become a serious philosophy. From this perspective, at least one thing can be denied-the Book of Changes is used as a special divination.
Professor Ceng Shiqiang of Taiwan Province Normal University once said: The result of divination is sometimes right and sometimes wrong. It is very easy for us to look at it with the concept of mathematics today. It is called probability, which may have a probability of 30 or 70. You must think carefully, and there may be an answer before you can go to divination. After divination comes out, it will guide your thinking, think about these problems, and let you have one more divination. Therefore, after you read a few more hexagrams, you will be more considerate and think about problems. This is the purpose of divination. Even Xunzi said that "those who are good and easy do not anticipate." A person who really understands the Book of Changes can predict, but he can't. A person should always remember to guide your feelings with your reason, and don't let your emotions control your reason. "
"Good or ill luck regrets, born in motion; Those who combine rigidity and softness are based on this; Flexible and interesting. "
Nan, a scholar in the Republic of China, pointed out in the Book of Changes: Tell us that there are only two words in the world that contain fortune telling and numerology, and these two words are "bad luck". The result of one thing is known from the beginning, either good or bad, and there is no third thing.
In this way, if you see the results from the beginning, what will people become? If the result of divination is good, that person will definitely lose the motivation to work hard, because the result has shown that it is good, just sit and wait; If the result of divination is fierce, that person will not work hard-since the result is not good, what should he work hard for? Therefore, this will inevitably lead to a negative psychological state.
But looking back, what if the result of divination is inaccurate? What's the use of divination? Therefore, no matter from which point of view, "those who are good and easy do not anticipate" always holds. It is precisely because those fortune-tellers did not understand the profound truth in the Book of Changes that they "believe in heaven and respect ghosts and gods" and gave their fate to heaven, but they did not grasp it well and turned what could have been adhered to into superstition.
