When did Guanyin borrow books in 2023?

The 26th day of the first lunar month is the annual opening day of Guanyin. According to legend, during the practice of Guanyin, there were 500 dharma protectors who turned into adult monks to beg for food in Kannonji in order to assess the practice achievements of Master Guanyin.

When Guanyin saw a monk asking for help, he opened a warehouse to let the monk enjoy all kinds of exquisite vegetarian dishes. 500 monks filled their stomachs, and the rest of the food was left to the good believers who came to visit.

Since then, the evening of the 25th day of the first lunar month has been designated as "Guanyin Library Opening Day". On this day every year, thousands of believers in Qian Qian gather in Kannonji to pray and borrow the library, hoping to prosper after borrowing money.
