According to legend, as early as the Sui Dynasty, Zhang Guolao, the Eight Immortals, passed by on his auspicious clouds. The Feng Shui here is very good and the scenery is beautiful. While he was stopping to watch, he suddenly saw a golden-winged phoenix fighting with nine giant dragons on the water. The golden phoenix is ​​spreading its wings and swooping down, trying to hold the dragon's head in its mouth. Nine giant dragons jumped up on the water at the same time, surrounding the golden phoenix, and threatened to engulf the golden phoenix. At this critical moment, Zhang Guolao flicked the Buddha's dust away, and nine giant dragons lay down on the east bank of the river at the same time, turning into nine mountain peaks. The golden phoenix was exhausted from fighting the nine giant dragons, and then it fell on the west bank and turned into a mountain peak. Later generations called the east mountain Longshan and the west mountain Fengshan. Therefore, Longfeng Mountain got its name.
