Badachu park is located in the south of the famous AAAA Xishan Scenic Area. It is the first batch of key cultural relics protection units in Beijing after the founding of the People's Republic of China. It is a Buddhist temple garden with a long history, high popularity and pleasant feng shui.

The oldest of the eight ancient temples is Bazhengguo Temple, which was built in the late Sui and early Tang Dynasties. Founded in Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, the largest temple is Gongxiangjie Temple of Emperor Kanggan. Badachu park is famous for its eight ancient temples, but in 2000, the Ming Dynasty cliff stone carvings were discovered, which caused a sensation in Beijing with the ninth place in eight places, attracting stone carving enthusiasts and many Buddhist believers.
