What is the hill near Xiangshan in Beijing? Is it open to tourists?
Badachu park is located in the south of the famous AAAA Xishan Scenic Area. It is the first batch of key cultural relics protection units in Beijing after the founding of the People's Republic of China. It is a Buddhist temple garden with a long history, high popularity and pleasant feng shui.
Badachu park is surrounded by Cuiwei Mountain, Pingpo Mountain, Lushi Mountain and Western Mountain. Three mountains are shaped like seats, and eight ancient temples are scattered among them. The natural "Twelve Scenes" are even more famous. The ancients praised that "three mountains are as beautiful as a house, eight temples are as beautiful as antiques in the house, and twelve scenic spots are as beautiful as gardens outside the house" and there is a saying that "the beauty of Xiangshan lies in man-made, and the beauty of Basu lies in nature.
Badachu park is famous at home and abroad for its two Lingguang temples dedicated to Sakyamuni's tooth. In recent years, Lingguang Temple has built the heart sutra wall of Pannopolomyta, 500 arhats and Buddhist tooth relics, forming a complete integration of Buddhism and Zen. The oldest of the eight ancient temples is Bazhengguo Temple, which was built in the late Sui and early Tang Dynasties. Founded in Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, the largest temple is Gongxiangjie Temple of Emperor Kanggan. Badachu park is famous for its eight ancient temples, but in 2000, the Ming Dynasty cliff stone carvings were discovered, which caused a sensation in Beijing with the ninth place in eight places, attracting stone carving enthusiasts and many Buddhist believers.
