Taoist culture has many branches , all maintain the traditional essence of Chinese culture with a loyal heart. Due to the vastness of the land of China, the vastness of the land, the diverse people, and the changes in history, many Taoist talents cannot be distributed in a scattered manner, hiding from the streets and alleys of the people, and secretly teach the art of morality. Among them, there are many splendid schools of magic, but they have not flourished since the reform and opening up. Due to the obstacles of the right time and place, they had no choice but to disappear from the world, and no one knew their secrets and appearance. Today, I feel that the eight fortunes are in power and the fate of heaven is in harmony with humanity. I will give some examples of Taoism that have disappeared among the people, so as not to let them be buried in the dust of history. It can be considered that as a Taoist disciple, I have done my best to carry forward the Taoist spirit.
These dharma lines belong to Taoism, but do not belong to Taoism. To be precise, they are religions formed by a certain regional culture among the people, and people call them folk dharma. Of course, the relationship between Dharma and Taoism is inextricably linked, and so are their thoughts, both originating from Taoism. They share the same body and spread the five techniques of mountain fortune-telling, medicine and divination, but unlike Taoism, the teachings emphasize the law and practical cultivation. The methods learned are usually reflected in exorcising evil spirits and improving feng shui. The inheritance methods are also different. There is no fixed Taoist temple location. Most of them are passed down from master to disciple and passed down from generation to generation.
Henan Religion
Henan Religion is not from Henan Province, but a large folk religious school, mainly spread in the three provinces of Sichuan, Chongqing and Guizhou. The teachings are different. There is a stipend from Shanghe in Hunan. There is a stipend from Banmao in Guizhou. There is a stipend from Henan. There is a stipend from Tongzhou. They have the same name but different ancestors. Some are Henan sects whose founder is Taishang Laojun. Some are Henan sects whose ancestors are Tongtian sects. Some are from the Henan sect of which Zhang Zhenren is the founder of Santianmen. The taboo spells in each school are different. Among them, the Henan Dharma School, the founder of Tongtian Cult, has the biggest taboos. They cannot eat beef, dog meat, fish without scales, eat flat-haired animal meat (flat-haired animals are bird feathers), and cannot pass under spider webs. Taishang Laojun, the founder of Feng Taishang, started teaching in Tongzhou. Among them, there are no taboos such as not eating fish without scales, not eating the meat of flat-haired animals, and not being able to pass under spider webs.
The Henan Sect, with Zhenren Zhang as its founder under Feng Santianmen, is a Henan Dharma that gradually spread after the two founders of Henan Province achieved success in practicing in Longhu Mountain and returned to their hometown in Henan to help those in need. Henan Law Most people in Sichuan know that Henan Law is a vicious and evil law. It is true that there are more offensive methods in Henan Law. The Henan Dharma spread in the Renshou area of Sichuan was the Henan Dharma that was spread after returning to Henan to study Dharma in the middle of the Qing Dynasty. This lineage of Henan Dharma has many magical manifestations and illusions. Among them, an old master who is still alive can emit real images from his fingers using the "Fa Hao Guang Jue". Visible light comes. The Henan Dharma, which is most popular in Sichuan and belongs to the lineage of Tongtian Sect, is a major sect in Sichuan. But at the same time, the two Sichuan dharma lines of "Tongtian Sect" and "Tongtian Ancient Sect" also have the ancestor of Tongtian Sect as their founder.
The first-generation Penbi Patriarch of Henan Dharma, who started teaching in Tongzhou, invited the Linji Patriarch, the Nama Patriarch, the Demon King... and so on. There are no divine orders in the talisman's belly, but one's own natal Yuan Chen enters the talisman to do things. The natal Yuanchen here refers to the mage's own "inner spirit". Practicing this line of Henan Dharma depends entirely on one's own inner spirit ability to execute the talisman orders. Only by cultivating the inner spirit can the power of the talisman orders be exerted.
Craftsman Lu Ban’s method
Lu Ban’s method, the three elements of masonry, stonemason and carpenter (mason, stonemason and carpenter) *** respects Lu Ban as the ancestor, and most of the craftsmen in the past knew the method (there are no three deficiencies Five disadvantages, broken and lonely, to be honest, the craftsman Lu Banfa has not reached that level yet). In an era of low productivity, craftsmen don't know how to do it. If someone else messes with the work after it's done, you won't get paid. But there are too many ways to punish people in the Craftsman Luban Method. Craftsman Luban's method of treating people is relatively easy to crack. Craftsman Faruban's method also contains many offensive methods such as exorcism, treatment, and fighting evil masters, which are not exclusively used to torture people.
Most of the methods of punishing people have certain limitations and should not be used for granted. Most of them can only be cast during construction, causing the house to become uneasy and dilapidated, or the doors, windows and furniture to make noise... They are all small tricks, and if used casually, they will indeed be bad. But in this society, most of them are no longer practical and can only be eliminated. The Luban method of craftsmen in each craftsman association is different, and there is no complete and rigid rule on who is authentic. Each master has his own method.
Pu'an Dharma
Pu'an Dharma is based on Zen Master Xiao Pu'an, who was awarded Daoyin in Nanquan Mountain, Jiangxi Province in the Song Dynasty, as the founder, that is, the "Pu'an Patriarch".
After attaining Taoism in Nanquan Mountain, the Patriarch often used magical techniques to ward off disasters and diseases for the people, and passed down the method of dispelling evil and curing diseases to the world. The Perfume Garden mentioned in Pu'an Dharma is the Cihua Temple where the founder of Pu'an taught his way. At that time, it was said that the temple was divided into two courtyards, inner and outer, and the inner courtyard was for monks. In the outer courtyard, there are monks who teach in all directions at home, or they are called fire-dwelling monks (actually they are lay practitioners). Pu'an Dharma is divided into two categories: civil and military. That is, the literary and military circles, the literary circles mainly focus on the disciplines of salvation, relief from disasters, and prayers for blessings. The martial law department mainly focuses on exorcism, treatment, fighting evil and attacking methods. The inheritance of Pu'an Buddhism is generally considered complete through the two altars of culture and martial arts
Pu'an's Dharma lineage was introduced to Sichuan and other places in the mid-Qing Dynasty, and gradually merged with Sichuan's local folk teachings, Taoism, and witchcraft to form what it is today. The Pu'an Dharma lineage. In Suining, Sichuan and other places, Pu'an perfumery is still circulated in the inner courtyard. The literary world is mainly based on the Tongnan area of Chongqing, and the martial arts is mainly passed down from one family. The two are compatible and complete the legal lineage.
Southwest Maoshan Method
Maoshan Method, when everyone mentions Maoshan Method, they may think of Taoist priests dancing with mahogany swords in Hong Kong movies, or a certain Maoshan sect in Guangdong, Guangdong and Hong Kong in the south. Let me explain here that the Maoshan Dharma in the southwest and the Maoshan Religion in the Guangdong, Guangxi and Hong Kong areas of the south are not a "concept", nor are they a system. At most, it's just a "Maoshan Method" sect with the same surname. There is no connection, they are different systems of Taoism.
