The weather in Sun Moon Lake in Taipei
The north and south of Taiwan Province Province are divided into two climatic zones, with subtropical monsoon climate in the north-central part and tropical monsoon climate in the south. The overall climate is long and humid in summer and short and warm in winter.

Sun Moon Lake is 748 meters above sea level with a normal area of 7.93㎞? (At full water level, 10㎞? ), with a maximum water depth of 27 meters and a lake circumference of about 37 kilometers, is one of the freshwater lakes with the largest number of exotic species in Taiwan Province Province. With Guanghua Island as the boundary, the northern half lake looks like a sun, and the southern half lake looks like a crescent moon.
