According to the villagers of Fugaoying Village, there are two main versions. One theory is that Yuhuang Mountain has five ridges, so it is named Wulong Mountain. Emperors of the Five Dynasties would be born here. Therefore, he built the Jade Emperor Temple on the mountain to worship the Jade Emperor and suppress the Five Dragons. According to local elders, during the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, the Jade Emperor Temple was very popular. On the first and fifteenth day of the lunar month, or during the Spring Festival, people from all over the country would come here to attend the temple fair. The excitement back then was no less than that of the Long Temple today. Qingxia Lantern Festival. In addition, there is a story about Han Xin burying his mother on Yuhuang Mountain that is widely circulated in the local area. According to the old people in the village, there is a stone coffin on the southeast slope of Yuhuang Mountain. The age is unknown, but it is said from generation to generation that it was the coffin of Han Xin's mother. People have always come here to offer incense and offer sacrifices. Now, to prevent fires, it has been I don't see anyone offering incense anymore.

The main peak of Yuhuang Mountain is more than 500 meters above sea level. When you climb it, you can have a close-up view of Yanqing City, overlook Guanting Reservoir and Badaling Great Wall in the distance, look north to Songshan and Dahaituo Mountains, and overlook the clear water of the Gui River, the mother river of Yanqing.
