Principle of meteorological information network

Some meteorological information obtained by various detection means in the world is for the international public, concentrated in 86 meteorological communication centers around the world, and then broadcast by region. The global * * * is divided into 8 broadcast areas, and each area has 8- 1 1 centers. These central parts are the capitals of various countries, and Peking in China is one of them. Local meteorological stations can choose to receive broadcasts from any center as needed, and draw the received meteorological telegrams on the weather map, so that the five continents can have a panoramic view.

In addition to the above-mentioned wireless broadcasting network, an international wired telex network has been established. Washington, Moscow and Melbourne are the three world centers; Bracknell, Paris, offenbach, Prague, Nairobi, Cairo, New Delhi, Brasilia, Tokyo and Beijing are regional communication hubs. The center and hub are connected with meteorological centers, meteorological stations and meteorological business units in many countries and places, forming a telex meteorological information network. Through the data channel and fax channel of this network, a large number of formal and informal meteorological data, weather live maps and forecast maps are transmitted. This telex network has the advantages of heavy load, convenient receiving and sending, rapid and timely transmission, and also transmits a large number of contents that wireless broadcasting can not transmit.
