Wind speed is an important parameter in meteorology, which has important applications in meteorological forecast, aviation, navigation, architectural design and other fields. You can query the wind speed through the meteorological data platform.

Meridional wind of meteorological data index: refers to the meridional component of upwind in the highlands around 10m (the southerly wind is positive).

Zonal wind: refers to the zonal component of the upwind in the highlands around 10m (the westerly wind is positive).

Surface wind speed: refers to the wind speed about10m above the ground.

Wind direction: refers to the direction of the wind, with due north being 0 and clockwise being positive.

Query step Step 1: geographical location selection. You can choose single point data or regional average data.

Step 2: Confirm the data source. What digital sources, European medium-range weather centers and selections can be used for historical data? The forecast data can be selected from the German Meteorological Bureau.

Step 3: Enter the start and end time of the download you want to query. You can choose 40 years of history and 7 days in the future.
