How to tell whether an area is a cold wave or a thunderstorm?

According to the definition of meteorology, two kinds of weather can be distinguished.

1. According to the regulations in 2006, after a cold air invasion, the daily minimum temperature in a place will be reduced by 8℃ or 10℃ within 24 hours and 12℃ within 72 hours, and the daily minimum temperature in this place will be reduced to 4℃ or below. Such cold air is called cold wave.

2. Thunderstorm is a weather phenomenon caused by the continuous collision between water vapor and ice in cumulonimbus clouds. When enough charge is accumulated in the clouds, lightning will be generated and huge energy will be released.
