Handbook Notes - Schedule

An important function of the notebook is schedule management. This article will share some tips on schedule management.

Many notebooks have ready-made monthly planning pages, usually at the front of the notebook.

If you do it yourself, you can be more flexible. You can draw it in front of the page corresponding to each month for easy viewing; you can leave space next to it to write monthly goals (Figure 2).

Many friends’ plans are actually divided by week, for example, the days of class each week and the days of rest each week. Therefore, making a weekly plan is the first step towards success.

As the saying goes, spare a page, spend half an hour, and you will be happy for a week.

The simplest layout is like this. According to the timeline from Monday to Sunday, the daily must-do list is listed from top to bottom. You can draw a small illustration of the weather based on the weather conditions of the day. Don't be afraid of ugly paintings. Practice makes perfect. If you paint a few more times, you will be good at it.

The second complicated point is to draw a vertical box and then list the daily todos in it. The advantage of this is that the daily workload is clearly contrasted and clear at a glance.

The most insane thing is this, the half-hour plan. I remember when I was young, there was a mysterious letter about Peking University's top schedule circulated in the world. It was probably similar to the picture below. It is extremely destructive to human nature. I basically never lasted more than two days.

Personally, I don’t think it’s necessary to have such a full schedule. Writing too many plans will take a lot of time. It’s OK to have a general direction every day and just remember the key points when you go back.
