Which province is Yanji?
Yanji City, located in the east of Jilin Province, is the capital of Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture. The whole city covers an area of 1.748 square kilometers and governs 6 streets and 4 towns. The registered population of the city is 5410.3 million, and the Korean population is 308,400, accounting for 57% of the total population. Historical evolution of Yanji city;
1. Before and after the Tang Dynasty, Yanji was under the jurisdiction of Koguryo and Bohai State.
2. During the Yuan and Ming Dynasties, Yanji area was successively subordinate to Kaiyuan Road, Liaoyang Province, and Nuergan made ambassador to Sibuhatu and other health clinics.
3. In the 16th year of Kangxi (AD 1677), the Qing court designated the east of Xingjing, the south of Yitong and the north of Tumen River as mountain-forbidden paddocks under the name of "Changbai Mountain is the ancestral land of Longxing", which lasted for 200 years.
