Where is the new meteorological tower in Yichang?

After nearly a year and a half of construction, the new weather radar station project in Yichang, which was moved to Heihushan in Yaowan Township, was successfully capped.

According to reports, due to the needs of urban development, the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government decided to relocate the Meteorological Observatory from Bailonggang in Dongshan to Heihushan in Yaowan Township, and started the relocation project of Yichang Weather Radar Station. The newly-built weather radar station is located at the junction of shi ban cun and Heihushan Village, Yaowan Township, Xiling District, and the main weather tower is located at the top of Heihushan Mountain at an altitude of 248 meters. With a height of 97.243 meters, the tower can have a panoramic view of the main city of Yichang and will become a "new landmark" of the city.
