Printmaking course: blow molding paper printmaking technology
A, blow plastic printing tool materials:
Materials and tools used for plate making include: blow-molded paper (single piece), colorless ballpoint pen, scissors, pencil, foam marker, electric soldering iron, etc. Tool materials used for printing are: gouache poster color, white latex, rubber roller, gouache, oil pastel, plywood, paper, bucket, clip, etc.
Second, the production process of blow-molded paper prints:
1. Writing: Students draw a draft with a pencil in the form of red strokes according to their own creative intentions or according to the teacher's homework outline. When drawing a manuscript, the teacher tells the relationship between composition and the density of lines that make up the picture with examples: where the lines in the picture are the most sparse, where the lines are the most dense, and where the paper strips are neither sparse nor dense, paying attention to the artistic changes of size, length and straightness.
2. Overdraft: First, gently rub the blow-molded paper for carving with a dry cloth to make it dim and easy to color, and then draw directly on the blow-molded paper with a foam marker. If you don't draw well, you can wipe it off gently with a wet towel and draw it again. The painting time should be drawn from the top of the blow-molded paper, and the lines of the foam watercolor pen should not be blurred by the palm of your hand.
3. Plate-making: use a colorless ballpoint pen to carve a certain depth along the handwriting of the manuscript and carve the outline of the manuscript. When carving, be careful to use light force, and don't draw through blow-molded paper. Because the blow-molded paper is soft, the colorless ballpoint pen will be dented after carving, and the places with dense lines will be forced to sink to form concave blocks, and the places with sparse paper strips will form gray.
4. Printing: firstly, put the gouache poster color on the flat plate, and roll it back and forth with a rubber roller to make the rubber roller color evenly (be careful not to add too much water to the pigment), and then roll the color on the carved blow-molding plate (you can adjust various colors at will according to the needs of the picture) to make the blow-molding paper print evenly. When rolling on the blow-molding board, you should bid farewell to your attention, roll slowly in one direction from bottom to top, and then cross from right to left. Never roll back and forth, let alone push too hard. Finally, cover the blow-molded paper with picture paper or rice paper, and gently press it with your palm or dry cloth ball. When you feel that the printing is almost the same, you can lift a corner to see if it is printed well. If the printing is not true, you can roll some colors where the colors are missing. If the printing pressure is not enough, you can put the paper flat and continue to erase the printing until you are satisfied.
Third, the performance of the texture effect of blow-molded paper prints:
Children's painting has the characteristics of exaggeration and deformation, but senior students often feel that they are not good at painting and can't correctly understand the beauty of exaggeration and deformation of objects. Teachers should encourage and guide primary school students to paint boldly, and show the print effects of blow-molded paper prints in various ways to effectively improve the painting level of primary school students.
(A), strong color oil painting stippling effect performance.
1. Place the processed printed blow-molded paper on the plywood, cover the blow-molded paper with a slightly larger printing paper (black or white), and then clamp one side of the printing paper and the blow-molded board with a clamp to ensure accurate color registration.
2. Open one end of the printing paper and apply gouache to all the painted areas on the blow-molded paper (sponge can be used for large-area color production). For each version of the color, rub one until it is finished.
The effect of this kind of printing, using the powder printing method of deep first and then shallow, can make the picture look deep, rich and lasting. Instruct students to pay attention to the relationship between color and reality, control the amount of coloring, and achieve ideal results.
(B) vivid color gradient watercolor effect performance:
1. First, carve the concise outline of the drawing on the blow-molded paper, and then stick it on the printing paper and clip it aside.
2. Wet the towel with clear water, squeeze it out slightly, cover it on the printing paper to be printed, wet it for a while, and take off the towel (don't make the paper too wet, otherwise it will make the color ooze and dirty the picture. )
3. Adjust the color density according to the needs of the picture, then dip the color with a sponge, and do a gradual change of several colors on a plate (match the appropriate color according to the meaning of the picture) for kneading. If the effect is not ideal, it can be revised repeatedly.
This effect can be achieved by using this method to print blow-molded paper prints with different picture effects, bright colors and watercolor effects.
(3) the performance of woodcut print effect:
1, draw on the blow-molded paper with foam watercolor, pay attention to the arrangement of paper strips on the screen, and draw the relationship between black, white and gray with black.
2. Stick the drawings on the plywood with latex paint, and draw a few slender lines on the blow-molded cardboard with a colorless ballpoint pen.
3. Blank and dense dots and lines in a large area of the layout are branded on the blow-molded paper printed matter with a special electrocautery, heated locally according to the needs of the picture, and the sparse places are portrayed with a colorless ballpoint pen.
4, printing, with rubber roller coloring, printed into monochrome prints, or with chalk coloring, printed into color.
The works printed in this way have a strong knife flavor and the effect of woodcut prints.
(4) Performance of murals and rock paintings.
1, according to the expression method of blow-molded paper prints, use a colorless ballpoint pen to make a rigid board, and tear the painted board into irregular shapes by hand according to the needs of the picture.
2. According to the author's intention, the engraving of blow-molded paper will be processed by hand (it can be rubbed, analyzed and rolled), and the damaged part on the back of blow-molded paper will be stuck with adhesive tape.
3, color printing, can be monochrome printing, you can also use oil pastel local friction to form color.
The prints printed by this method are simple and natural, with strong earth-rock flavor and long-standing murals and rock effects.
(5) Colorful watercolor effect:
First, print a print according to the extension of monochrome blow-molded paper print. When it is slightly dry, use a brush to adjust the color water and directly color it. Draw whatever color you like, which is easier for students to master and faster, but pay attention to the color difference between objects when drawing. The blow-molded paper printed by this method has a rich sense of color in the whole picture.
The production effect of the children's blow-molded paper prints is simple in tools and materials, and the production method is simple, which is suitable for the age and psychological characteristics of primary school students. The unique effect of the work enhances the artistic appeal of implementing children's blow-molded paper prints and keeps primary school students interested in learning for a long time.
