Prose for an appointment at Tianhua Mountain next year

Tianhua Mountain in Ningshan County, Shaanxi Province covers Dongliang, Nanliang, Xiliang, and Beiliang, with an altitude of more than 2,800 meters. The highest east beam is 2964.6 meters. Dongliang, praised by climbers as "lover, aunt, god", is my favorite. I have dated my favorite Dongliang "lover" more than 20 times. But I didn’t know the name “Tianhua Mountain” until my third year of climbing.

At that time, a netizen went to Tianhua Mountain twice for a two-day reloading trip. After seeing the photos he took and the travel notes he wrote, I was very envious, but I didn’t have the slightest urge to go. It is beyond my power to make it alone. At that time, I had a problem with my back. I often suffered sudden nerve tears on both sides of my spine. The pain was excruciating and I couldn't move (I haven't done it again when climbing mountains), and my back couldn't bear any heavy pressure. During the three years of mountain climbing, I spent the first two years climbing with my family or international students. They carried backpacks and I hiked empty-handed. No one is carrying the burden for me, I can only look at the mountains and sigh.

This is the third year of mountain climbing. I went mountain climbing that weekend, but my companion had to go home due to an emergency. It was my first time backpacking alone to climb a mountain in Fengyu. I remember that there was half a bottle of Coke and two apples left in the bag, but the backpack itself was a bit heavy. After more than half an hour of hiking up the mountain, on the large slope next to Fengde Temple, my backpack weighed me down so much that I almost died on the hillside, and my heart was extremely uncomfortable. At the critical moment, an "acquaintance" wearing camouflage uniforms who has been hiking here all year round, whom I have met many times and nodded to several times, came up from behind me, looked back at me, and then "forced my hand" from my shoulder. "Take off the backpack...

" In this way, this man whom I call "Brother Camouflage" carried the bag for me after learning about my physical condition. From then on, the five of them began a one-year journey on Fengyu Mountain. He is a strong mountain climber. Mountain climbing is to practice physical fitness. He runs on the mountain road like chasing rabbits. He is a real mountain brother like the wind (actually younger than me).

In this year of mountain climbing with "Brother Camouflage", my physical fitness and speed have been greatly improved. I can walk even twenty kilometers. In his words: "What you can achieve depends on the kind of people who lead you."

I really have to thank Brother Camouflage for completely changing my appearance. I have also become a "female man" in the mountains. When I climb up the mountain, the wind blows at my feet.

A year later, I decided to fly solo and wanted to see the sky beyond Fengyu Mountain.

I started climbing mountains by myself with the outdoor team. When international students and family members cannot come, I carry a 10-liter single-layer bag by myself. The small backpack can only hold one bottle of water (I can’t carry two bottles of water). There are always five slices of beef in the lunch box, and I won’t put an extra slice in it. At that time, every time I signed up, I would ask the team leader if he could carry a bottle of water for me. If he was sure, I would sign up. Most of the time, my traveling companions helped me carry water.

So, at that time, I didn’t even have to think about the two-day route to Tianhua Mountain. If you can’t carry the equipment on your back, no matter how fast you run, you will never make it. The two-day route cannot be solved by my teammates bringing me an extra bottle of water.

Later, I heard that the Tianhua Mountain route has been optimized, and you don’t need to bring extra food for a one-day route. We set off the night before, stayed at a farmhouse at the foot of the mountain, and started climbing at five o'clock the next morning. That's it, I'm not tempted yet. Because in the travel notes written by the previous netizen, there was a very dangerous climb up a cliff. Although I love mountain climbing, I am not an adventurous person.

Six years have passed. In recent years, ever since the Tianhua Mountain crossing route began, it has always been a hot spot. The beauty of the scenery makes many climbers linger and come here several times. But I can only share the beauty in their pictures.

Until June last year, I saw a traveling friend who was traveling through Tianhua Mountain and photographed the vast meadows of West Liang, South Liang and East Liang. The low-branched purple azaleas bloomed into boundless purple flowers. After the sea, my heart was beating, and the idea of going there was ignited. Moreover, I have been to Dongliang, my favorite place, more than 20 times, but I never caught up with the flowering season and never saw the purple azaleas blooming on the meadow.

Especially when I saw the photo in which the traveling companion was sitting next to my beloved "cradle" dead tree on Nanliang Yakou Meadow, surrounded by patches of dwarf purple rhododendrons in full bloom. It's as wonderful as a fairyland, I'm really drunk. At that moment, besides envy, I was really jealous and hated. It was like he had taken over my garden and had a sneak preview of it.

From that moment on, the idea started to flourish, but it was still in the process of being demonstrated.

It was last autumn, on the way through Xiangyu Valley in Zige Valley. Several people in the team talked about the Tianhua Mountain they had visited. These words caught my attention. I paid attention to them halfway and found that their speed was much slower than mine. So, I asked them about the difficulty of the Tianhua Mountain route. They both rushed to tell me how many times they had been there. It's not difficult. It only takes half an hour to climb the slope to reach the top of the mountain beam, and then keep walking on the meadow. They emphasized: "If you can walk through the Eastern Liang and Cross the Southern Liang, there will be no problem with your physical fitness when walking Tianhua Mountain. We also saw a lot of takin."

What they said surprised me. Now the lines are optimized like this. This is the first time I have heard of it. I decided right away that I would definitely go to Tianhua Mountain to see the sea of flowers next year.

When I was hiking on Bald Mountain in the twelfth lunar month of last year, I met the travel companion who enjoyed the view of the rhododendrons and takin in Tianhua Mountain, which made me "jealous and envious". He also talked lightly about his relationship with the two The same thing goes for women. Then I will be even more determined.

Next June, I will definitely go to Tianhua Mountain’s gluttonous feast.

From then on, whenever I think of the endless meadow with the endless sea of purple flowers in full bloom, I will get excited and begin to envision myself in the vast grassland nearly 3 kilometers above sea level. Dian, it’s like swimming in the boundless sea of flowers. It makes me laugh just thinking about it.

Regarding the takin in Tianhua Mountain, I asked my travel friend whether the takin eats people? He said: "It will not eat people, but will bump into people under abnormal circumstances." Facts have also proved that people and takin live in peace and harmony. Over the years, so many people have traveled through no-man’s land, and almost every time they have encountered a herd of wild takin. Sometimes there are hundreds of them, large and small, old and young, gathering together to play on the meadow where purple azaleas are in full bloom. It is more beautiful than the "Animal World" blockbuster. The beauty of the pictures sent back is fascinating.

However, even in such a warm and wonderful scene, I am still a little scared. There used to be a large self-sufficient ox on the river road to Dongliang. One time the year before last, when we were going down the mountain in the evening, it was also returning home. When we passed by it, it suddenly raised its head and threw it at me, scaring me so much that I screamed, and my heartbeat was louder than the hooves of a cow hitting the ground.

Therefore, my goal is very specific, which is to go to Tianhua Mountain to wander in the sea of flowers and overlook the takin in the distance.

Time flies, the seasons cycle, and the azaleas on the mountains are about to bloom.

When I went hiking in Chaoyang Cave last Saturday, a fellow traveler who went down the mountain told me that a club had given notice two weeks in advance to go to Tianhua Mountain to enjoy azaleas next Saturday.

After hearing the news, I was so excited that I walked down the mountain so fast.

After reading the post in detail on Sunday, I immediately communicated with the team leader on the phone to express my decision to go. Two friends who were traveling with me were also eager to sign up on Monday, for fear that they would be late and not have a spot.

In the past few days when I decided to go, I checked the weather forecast of Ningxia-Shaanxi where Tianhua Mountain is located many times a day. When I saw that it was going to be cloudy and drizzling on Saturday (light rain only started at 8 p.m.), I decided to go there. I signed up on Thursday.

Maybe it’s true that “extreme joy brings sorrow”. At noon on Friday, the little toe of my left foot hit the leg of the table. I heard a snapping sound and the pain was so painful that I almost lost my breath. The family said: It’s broken, it’s broken.

At the moment when I was almost dying from the pain, what I was thinking was: It’s broken, it’s broken, I can’t go tomorrow.

I quickly hugged my foot and carefully touched the injured area. It was very painful, but I didn’t feel any stubble. This gives me some comfort.

In the evening, the little toe turns into a purple grape. I started to feel irritable. After trying on four pairs of hiking shoes one by one, I found that one pair of shoes that I didn't wear often was wider and could fit my feet in, but it was very uncomfortable and so painful that I couldn't walk. Seeing this, I knew I might not be able to climb the mountain tomorrow. I just hope that I can put on my shoes and walk to the meeting point tomorrow.

At worst, I can bring my computer with me tomorrow, they can go hiking while I work at the bottom of the mountain.

When I woke up on Saturday morning, the first thing I did was take analgesics. I didn't bring my computer with me when I went out at six o'clock, because I didn't think it was a big problem when I tried on the shoes. But when I got out of the elevator, I started limping after just a few steps. It was raining heavily at this time. When I was crossing the main road, on a road with few cars and people, I swerved very funny because I felt that the road was too wide.

Tianhua Mountain is too far away from Xi’an. It took us three hours to reach the forest management station of the reserve. After getting off the car, spray again quickly. I don’t know if my feet are getting used to the shoes or if they are really feeling better. Anyway, I can bear it.

There were a lot of people who came to climb Tianhua Mountain this time, and we had more than 60 people from one class, one middle class, and two cars. Among them, there were two days of heavy camping, and two private cars accompanying me.

My other companion Xiaomei is in the cart and has not arrived yet. I decided to leave first with my companion Jin Zi and wait for her on the way. Xiaomei is a marathon runner and has better physical fitness than the two of us.

The people who can come through today are strong mountain climbers. Not even ten minutes after we started walking along the forest farm road, the person in front of us disappeared. I followed suit in stride. My feet were still uncomfortable at first, but after walking the two-kilometer forest farm road and starting to climb the mountain in earnest, my feet felt a little better than when I walked on a flat road.

However, it started to rain less than five minutes after walking, so everyone put on raincoats. It will start to rain in ten minutes. Before we finished walking the two-kilometer forest farm road, it started to rain heavily. Soon the pants were all wet, water poured down the trouser legs into the shoes, and the hiking boots were full of water. As the altitude increases, the temperature drops rapidly. You can only walk quickly at this time, otherwise the cold will be unbearable if you stop. Everyone moved forward quickly in the heavy wind and rain.

As soon as we finished walking on the forest farm road, Xiaomei also caught up with us. She is really too strong and can walk easily. Her pants were wet to her thighs, and her top was also damp. We walked together for about twenty minutes. When I learned that it would take three hours to reach the first destination, Xiliang, I decided to let Xiaomei and a teammate I knew go together first. It was also at this time that I told her that there was something wrong with my toes and I couldn’t walk fast today, so I might not be able to cross.

Xiaomei was surprised when she heard that I was giving up. Other teammates also said incomprehensively: You guys are doing so well, why did you give up?

Actually, I didn’t give up completely at this moment. I was just worried that Xiaomei and I were not on the same pace, and she would feel uncomfortable walking and her body would get cold.

The weather is so bad today, the only way to keep warm is by walking briskly.

After Xiaomei left, my friend and I continued walking. Jin Zi repeatedly advised me not to leave. She said, "My feet feel so uncomfortable and the rain is so heavy. There will be plenty of opportunities in the future." She was right. But I don’t want to give up so easily. Jin Zi has been looking forward to this time travel for a year. Her physical fitness is also better than mine, and her raincoat is better than mine and Xiaomei's. She gave up entirely because of me. Therefore, I told her that we would try to walk to Xiliang, take a look at the sea of flowers, and then return.

We continued walking for about five minutes. At this time, we met from time to time team members who gave up, and a self-driving team that arrived earlier than us. Everyone descended and returned due to poor weather. We had to stop from time to time to give way to them. This situation makes me a little discouraged. So, I, who was not thirsty, told my companion to stop and I wanted to drink some water. I wanted to drink some glucose water to replenish my physical strength and then rush towards Xiliang with all my strength. You can wear a raincoat, but it takes a long time to get your backpack and water. In the strong wind and heavy rain, my soaked pants quickly cooled my body. For a while, my hands were shaking with cold, and my injured little toes were numb.

I know something is wrong. Based on my ten years of mountain climbing experience, I am now walking on a forested hillside, and the altitude is only about 2,300 meters. The area around Xiliang in Tianhua Mountain is at an altitude of over 2,800 meters, and is covered with meadows. On weekdays, the weather is windy and the temperature is low on sunny days. We went up in the rain, and our clothes only got wetter. We are all so cold now. If we force ourselves to go up, we will definitely lose body temperature, and the consequences will be terrible.

We love climbing mountains to live a more exciting life, not to risk our lives. Current weather conditions require a descent. I also understand that giving up this time means having to wait another year. Because the blooming period of azaleas is only one week. Even if it blooms late next week, I won't be able to come. My foot injury won't heal in a short time.

We decided not to leave, it was too cold.

However, not even ten minutes after we descended, we learned from the walkie-talkies of our heavy-duty teammates that there was an accident about 200 meters in front of us (at an altitude of 2,400 meters), and a teammate was unfortunately in danger. . At that time, it was rainy and windy and the road was slippery. The team members were all focused on their feet when they were hit head-on by a lone takin.

Everyone in the team gave up crossing and retreated.

What must be mentioned here is that after the unfortunate incident, many heavily armed team members who were walking behind us put down their equipment and rushed up the mountain against the crowd to go to the rescue. Xiao Li, on the other hand, arrived at the scene and left her raincoat to protect the injured from the rain...

This is an accidental event and a low-probability event. Therefore, the moment I learned about the unfortunate incident, I was so frightened that I lost control. Moreover, during my trip to Chaoyang Cave a week ago, I had interactions with the victims.

Three days later, I have calmed down from the shock. We are all climbers and feel the same way. When we pursue a wonderful life, we must have a scientific and rigorous attitude to achieve it.

So, my original intention of giving up the time travel this time was not because I had a premonition of the accident (I really don’t have that ability), but because the weather conditions were too bad and it had to be terminated. What's more important is that before departure, familiar travel friends repeatedly advised me not to go, and repeatedly emphasized that I must not take risks if the weather is bad, but I turned a deaf ear. Therefore, this is also a lesson and a warning.

As for Tianhua Mountain, which I long for, whether I can visit it in person in the future, I have the answer today: next year I will choose another safer route, go to the appointment again, and share the most beautiful scenery in Xiliang!

We are pilgrims of nature, and the pace of pilgrims will never stop...
