How to deal with haze weather
Causes of haze weather:
1. Low atmospheric air pressure and stagnant air flow are the main factors. Due to the stagnant air flow, tiny particles (PM2.5) in the air gather and float in the air.
2. The ground is dusty and the air humidity is low. People and traffic on the ground stir up the dust.
3. Car exhaust is the main pollutant emission. In recent years, there have been more and more cars in cities, and the car exhaust is a factor in smog.
4. Secondary pollution caused by factories.
5. CO2 and other pollutants emitted by heating in winter.
Coping methods:
1. Do not engage in strenuous activities. Increased lung capacity during strenuous exercise such as long-distance running and playing football will cause people to inhale more pollutants.
Wearing a mask when going out can block some pollutants.
2. Don’t close the windows too tightly. Homes will be polluted by kitchen fumes, furniture additives, etc. If there is no ventilation, dirty indoor air will also harm health. You can choose to open the windows for a short period of time at noon when there is more sunshine and fewer pollutants.
3. The elderly, children, pregnant women, people with heart disease, people with respiratory diseases and other people who are more sensitive to pollution should reduce outdoor activities on hazy days.
4. It is best to eat more fruits and lung-clearing pig liver, pig blood, mung bean soup, red bean soup, boiled lotus seed water, etc. to prevent the impact of haze weather on your respiratory tract.
