China Naming Network - Almanac query - I have been in Hohhot for a few days, and I feel that the sun rises from the west. I don’t know if this is correct. Can someone who knows explain it? Thanks.

Hohhot is located in the central part of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. East longitude 110°46′--112°10′, north latitude 40°51′--41°8′, located at the foot of the mountains in the central part of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with a total area of 17,224 square kilometers. It is bounded by the Yinshan Mountains to the north and the Jiuqu Yellow River to the south. It can be judged from this that the sun must be wrong to rise from the west. If this is not possible, bring a compass. I sometimes have this illusion when traveling, maybe because I’m used to the Feng Shui in my hometown!
