Episode 1 synopsis: When Tang Priest and his disciples came back from studying the scriptures, they met the King of Tang and told the reason why the scriptures were wet. Four of them came to Chenjiazhuang, on the Tongtian River, and learned that there was a monster-feeling king. Sacrifice once a year to eat virgins. Wukong and Bajie turned into little children to save the suffering of the people in Chenjiazhuang, and defeated the monster. The monster used the plan offered by the fish girl to make the summer sky full of snow and freeze the Tongtian River. The Tang Priest, eager to learn from the scriptures, crossed the river on ice and sank to the bottom.
