Introduction of Wangtian Lake Scenic Spot in Guangdong Province
Here, the vegetation is lush, hidden, close to the water source, and the geographical position is superior. The surrounding wild boar herds gather and breed here, so they choose this place as their own territory. Coincidentally, during the period of World War II in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, it was once selected by the local anti-Japanese troops as a reserve battlefield against Japanese invaders. At that time, the Japanese invaders were stationed here, which may be due to the particularity of their strategic position in the battlefield. There are also remnants of military facilities such as trenches, bunkers and armored obstacles left over from the Anti-Japanese War. After liberation, it was used as a field training base for PLA troops stationed here, and was later transferred to protect the environment and restore ecology. Slowly, because of the departure of human activities, the surrounding wild boars soon began to haunt here and returned to their feng shui treasure-house dominated by human wars for a long time, so they were also called wild pig forest by local people.
In the development of scenic spots, considering the historical and cultural protection and natural ecological protection of this woodland, this woodland has been specially protected, and a wild boar natural ecological stocking viewing area has been set up, which not only protects historical and cultural relics and ecological environment, but also facilitates tourists' sightseeing. The agricultural sightseeing area is located in the southwest of the scenic spot, and there is a four-season fruit picking garden, where 20 varieties such as burnt orange, imperial orange, navel orange, kumquat, red grapefruit, Mitsubishi olive, tree grape, grape, sweet crisp peach, loquat and pitaya are planted.
