Please introduce some legends from various places
Longfu Township was originally called Baiya Township. The name Longfu was derived from the temple called Longfu Temple in Baiya Township.
According to legend, there was an ancient Buddhist temple in Baiji, but now only some remnants of the temple’s foundation can be seen. There is a large yellow horn tree next to the temple, which can be surrounded by three people. The yellow horn tree is hollow and leads to the mysterious place underground. It grows with luxuriant branches and leaves. Not far from the temple, there is an ancient well. Companion, the ancient well nourishes the monks, and the monks accompany the yellow horn tree to clean it. The monks practiced and chanted sutras in the monastery all year round without any worries, and the whole Baiya Township was almost in good weather. Until one day, there was a thunderbolt, and a small white dragon emerged from the hole of the ancient yellow horn tree in the temple! Maybe Little White Dragon gained enlightenment by cultivating in the yellow horn tree for hundreds of years in the pure place of the temple? It was not harmful when it came out, but when it came out it was raining heavily, so it swam into the nearby river, and its body gradually grew bigger from upstream to downstream, and finally it climbed up to the sky. ”
From then on, the temple was renamed Longfu Temple. All the masters who had practiced Taoism in the temple for a long time were gone, leaving only an empty temple. The private school teacher wanted to facilitate teaching, and the Feng Shui here was very good. It was clean and pleasant, and a primary school was established here. As expected, many talents were nurtured. In order to thank the people for their education, Baiya Township was renamed Longfu Township.
Shuangliu Town, Yingshan, Sichuan. The river is still like this. According to legend: Shuanghe was not called Shuanghe before. There was a mountain on the opposite side of Shuanghe. It was the highest mountain in Yingshan County, called Heima Mountain, with an altitude of more than 700 meters. Black Horse Mountain has been home to many lush vegetation since ancient times, and there are many legends about Black Horse Mountain. It is also said that Black Horse Mountain once had wolves, tigers, and foxes, but what is certain now is that there were extremely poisonous snakes and squirrels on Black Horse Mountain. There once lived a father and son on Black Horse Mountain. They lived there all year round. One day, a giant vine grew on Black Horse Mountain, blocking their way in and out of Black Horse Mountain. This giant vine had two giant roots. The father and son saw the giant vines growing day by day and were worried about a disaster, so they found a saw and planned to cut off the two giant vines. The father and son used this saw to cut the two giant vines day and night. They sawed continuously for seven days and nights before they finally cut off the two giant vines. After the vines were cut, the vine juice gradually flowed out, and the vine pulp has been flowing ever since. Two rivers were formed together. The rivers were clear all year round and nourished the working people of Shuanghe. Therefore, the place was renamed Shuanghe. Later, many scholars thought Shuanghe was too ordinary, so they called it "Shuangliu", but it still exists today. Many people call it Shuanghe.
