Have you recovered from David's illness?

In the novel Searching for Dragons on Earth, David's condition has not improved. David was diagnosed with lung cancer, which is a serious disease and requires high medical expenses and long-term treatment. In order to raise medical expenses, David made great efforts, including participating in competitions and fund-raising activities.
