Wudang mountain travel guide
There are Wudang Mountain and Fiona Fang in the northwest of Chu, covering an area of more than 30 square kilometers. There are 72 peaks and 36 rocks in the depths of the cliff. There are 1 1 fairy caves, 18 rocks and 9 cliffs in the mountains. Twenty-four Creek Waterfall is really a valley with peaks and valleys, and a valley with dense forests. The scenery is beautiful and green everywhere. At the same time, Wudang Mountain also preserves large-scale Taoist buildings and numerous cultural relics. It attracts tourists and pilgrims from all over the world to visit and worship every year.
"Tao" is a local religion in China, which originated from "Tao" in pre-Qin hundred schools of thought.
"Tao" is a school represented by Laozi and Zhuangzi in the contention of a hundred schools of thought in China. They all regard "Tao" as the highest category in their own ideological theory, and advocate respecting Tao and valuing morality, learning from nature, being honest and doing nothing, cultivating self-cultivation, dealing with the belief in ghosts and gods, and dealing with the relationship between man and nature. Taoism is a religious entity. "Tao" is the enlightenment or preaching to "Tao". It is a religion that believes in "Tao" and cultivates "becoming immortal and gaining Tao" through spirit. Taoism and its essential belief are "Tao".
Wudang Taoism began in the Spring and Autumn Period, flourished in Sui and Tang Dynasties, flourished in Ming Dynasty and declined in Qing Dynasty. After the founding of New China, especially after the reform and opening up, Taoist activities in Wudang Mountain have developed greatly. Now it is one of the five schools of Taoism in China.
Teacher Lu Xun once said that China's roots are in Taoism.
We arrived at Wudang Mountain by bus on the afternoon of 6th, which happened to be cloudy. When we walked into the park, we took photos.
Arrived at BB, Nanyan, Wudang Mountain on the evening of 6th (the above two photos were taken above BB).
It was cloudy that day. It should be smooth from Wudang Mountain Railway Station to Wudang Mountain Scenic Area and then to Nanyan. The bus from the railway station goes directly to the terminal outside the gate of the scenic spot, which takes only 40 minutes, and it is a flat urban road without going over mountains and mountains. But what I want to complain about is that Wudang Mountain, like other major scenic spots in China, has a long shopping mall at the entrance of the scenic spot-"Wudang Gold Street". With the ups and downs of the hillside, tourists with luggage feel quite helpless and have to carry their luggage upstairs. This is "tiredness". When I complained, the officials of the scenic area management Committee would not carry their luggage up the mountain, which was "brainless".
Today is the 7th. It will rain and fog in the morning. Everything in the distance is covered by rain and fog. It's really illusory. At this time, we are really anxious. We are not afraid of rain. At this time, our raincoats and rain boots came into play. What we are afraid of is that we can't see anything at the scenic spot. It is with this anxiety that we go out. Unfortunately, we met with heavy rain and fog in the Golden Hall of Tianzhu Peak in Wudang Mountain. When we arrived at the Golden Palace, we couldn't see the buildings and the surrounding scenery clearly. We really spend money and time to buy "sin" and complain on the way to Hui people's accommodation.
Before going to Tianzhu Peak, we went to the "Fuzhenguan" scenic spot on Taizipo. The ancient buildings in Taizipo are all designed according to the story of Zhenwu cultivation. Ancient architects skillfully used this mountain to build a wavy wall, which is called the Jiuqu Yellow River Wall. Entering the Erdao Mountain Gate, a wide courtyard suddenly appeared. Walking in, I saw the small yards overlapping, quiet and comfortable. In front of it is the Wuyun Tower built on the rock, which contains the Imperial Scripture Hall and the Tibetan Scripture Pavilion, and behind it is the Prince's Hall on the high platform.
The above picture shows the architectural feature of Taizipo: "One lane, four doors and nine bends of the Yellow River wall". Entering the scenic spot, you can't see the road 50 meters ahead. People can only walk along the walls of the Jiuqu Yellow River, turn a corner to a scenic spot, and a corner will welcome you to a new scenic spot.
The construction of this scenic spot
The Prince's Reading Hall is at the highest point of Prince's Slope. This scene can only be entered by climbing the mountain gate. While visiting, I was thinking that the prince at that time probably didn't pay attention to reading. His teacher set the school in a remote place with a high slope, where there was no place to play and no one could disturb it. Only reading can kill time.
"Wuyun Pagoda" is a tall all-wood structure building in Wudang Mountain, with a unique pure architectural framework of "one column and twelve beams". It is a masterpiece of ancient wooden architecture and the crystallization of the wisdom of ancient working people. It has been highly praised by people and is also a famous scenic spot in Guanzhen.
This is the slogan of "carrying out the agrarian revolution" during the agrarian revolution in Wudang Mountain. seven
On the way to Taizipo, you can see the steps up the mountain, but you can't see the steps down the mountain. The tour guide said that if you go up to practice, someone will lead you step by step, and if you go down, you will have to rely on since the enlightenment 3354 to go home. Keep self-awareness no matter what. I'll take a closer look and think about it. This is the case, and so is life.
In the heavy rain and fog, the cable car went up the mountain. I really don't have much hope of going to Tianzhu Peak to see the Golden Temple.
Fog and rain enveloped the golden dome.
Today is not only a rainy and foggy day, but also an auspicious day for pilgrims to pay homage in March 1969. Because the Golden Hall of Tianzhu Peak was closed some time ago. After the ban was opened, today's pilgrims flocked to this auspicious day to pay their respects. There were so many people that we met and had to line up with the crowd. After entering Nantianhou, we squeezed all the way to Tianzhu Peak.
Tianzhu Peak is 1.600 meters above sea level, and Da Yue Taihe Palace is built on top of it, which is the highest scenic spot in Wudang Mountain. Only when tourists and pilgrims climb the top of Tianzhu Peak and enter the Hall of Supreme Harmony can they really reach Wudang Mountain. It's a pity that we crowded up the mountain and didn't see the scenery that "all other mountains in the world are short" through the rain and fog. Not at all. We are given crowded people, rain and fog all over the sky and vague buildings.
The photos below show pilgrims scrambling to donate incense (all in red) to the Golden (Copper) Hall.
After getting off the cable car, we visited Jinguiqiong Taichung Temple (also known as Zi Yue Qiong Tai). It is very quiet here. There are few tourists and pilgrims, not to mention cigarettes and donations. Only ancient temples and cold statues.
Qiongtaiguan is located at the southeast foot of Tianzhu Peak in Wudang Mountain, with a length of about 10 km and a vertical distance of 1.350 m. It can be divided into top view, middle view and bottom view. The Yuan Dynasty was called Qiongtai Palace. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there were 24 Taoist temples and hundreds of temples. Xianfeng in Qing dynasty was destroyed by fire for six years (1856). When Guangxu rebuilt some temple houses.
We are visiting the middle scene. There is also a stone hall in the Yuan Dynasty, all made of bluestone (because we can't find it in rainy days), and there is also a basalt icon carved by bluestone. This stone temple, with an area of only 18 square meters, is of great value for studying the history of Wudang Taoism in the Yuan Dynasty.
Today's tour was completely blocked by rain and fog. It's cold and humid. Although there is plenty of time after going down the mountain, we are no longer interested. Let's stop for Muslims in sightseeing bus.
In the morning, when the sun rises, I feel refreshed. God still cares for tourists who come from afar like us. Traveling on a sunny day and watching the scenery on foot are the coolness that every traveler longs for. Although there are only four or five hours in the mountains during the day today, it is enough for us to visit other places in Wudang Mountain leisurely.
Let's go without hesitation.
We set out for Southern Yan Palace Scenic Area.
Today, the first scenic spot is Southern Yan Palace. I took a fancy to this scenic spot because I have seen many leading scenic spots in Southern Yan Palace Cliff caused by incense accidents on TV and in travel guides.
Southern Yan Palace also has many mountain gates. This is the first one.
Wudang Mountain Taoist Temple (Palace) has some glazed tiles besides the conventional red wall tiles. I don't understand. I asked the Taoist priest and said that this is a palace, glazed tiles can be used.
this is
This is the famous stone temple in Southern Yan Palace. There is a carved dragon stone pillar in front of the cliff, 2.9 meters high and only 30 centimeters wide. It is carved with a dragon and a small incense burner, commonly known as dragon head incense. This scene is the place where practitioners who have been worshipping in Wudang come to worship incense. How many people died because the incense burner on the tap accidentally fell off the deep cliff. It is also a scenic spot that tourists who come to Wudang have to take pictures. Usually, it is extremely crowded. Today, we got up early and there were few passengers, so we constantly adjusted our angles to take pictures. This is a photo that we think best reflects the image of "leading stone". The high faucet stared at the mountains as if to say, "I'm paying attention to all of you."
Although we came first, the devout pilgrims also came early. They regard the elephant as the best expression of their pious attitude. We experienced the whole process of female pilgrims burning incense nearby. First, there are three kinds of incense: 300, 600 and 900, all of which are three pillars of fine incense, and believers can choose. Second, after burning incense, believers can only worship in the fence and cannot step out of it. Third, after the worship, the burnt incense should not be inserted in the incense burner on the tap, but should be inserted by the Taoist priest.
Shoufu Kangning, a large cliff stone carving, is also a long-standing calligraphy.
Travel to Wudang Mountain can generally be divided into three categories. The first category is: Taoist priests, with the purpose of practicing Taoism, travel around, purify their souls and improve their Taoism in order to become masters of various sects in the future. The second category is: pilgrims, believers, with a sincere heart to practice and worship. Every time they go to the palace, they burn incense, kowtow to the statue and pray for God's blessing. The third category is: tourists, who appreciate the Forbidden City as a scenic spot and find its historical and cultural value during their travels, thus enriching their experiences and cultivating their sentiments.
The word "Shoufu Kangning" is what everyone needs. The word "health and longevity" can only be realized in a peaceful and harmonious society. We should cherish and cherish the peaceful and harmonious life now.
On the way to Southern Yan Palace Scenic Area, we saw many red blessing ribbons tied to trees and fences. This is a business opportunity. The red ribbon of blessing is the rhythmic rise of businessmen. Originally, the red ribbon for praying should be made by oneself, which is an expression of will. Now it can be expressed by spending one yuan, which seems too "cheap". Of course, this is also a manifestation of the fast-paced life now. Don't be demanding.
"Tower", an architectural form originating from ancient India, is a bone burial building of Buddhist monks. Buddhism and Taoism in China also adopt this method. The more respected monks and masters, the more magnificent their towers are.
After the appearance of upper-class Taoist priests in Ming and Qing Dynasties, there were two burial methods: one was sitting in a jar, that is, burying the jar after sealing it, piling it into a cemetery, building a tower and erecting a monument, and the other was coffin burial. The way of burial is the same as before.
The tower above stands on the road to Nanyan Palace, but it is well preserved despite the wind and rain. Those fragments were put up by people, so they should be greeting gifts when worshipping sacrifices! I want to find out who is the immortal master, but I can't find any written materials anywhere.
Xiaoyao Valley used to be a film and television base for making movies. This is a deep ditch between two mountains, which stretches for miles. I don't want to go in, but I have plenty of time. The local people say that a group of macaques there are very cute. I thought there were no beloved macaques in Emei Mountain. Wouldn't it be more interesting to meet them here, such as Doby? Just get off and go in, that's right. The scenery is generally not worth mentioning. There's really nothing to see without making a movie or setting a scene. Along the way, there were no macaques nearby or far away. However, when we met monkey food, these elves came uninvited and saved our monkey food.
Seeing the staff scattering corn, the macaques on the two mountains came down from the mountains, streams and treetops without saying hello, and they panicked. During this period, they fought for food and were very lively.
That naughty macaque seems to want to be
In the third year of Xuanhe in the Northern Song Dynasty, Zixiao Palace was built, which was named Shengyuan Zixiao Palace. In the tenth year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty, it was rebuilt with the title "Taixuan Zixiao Palace". In the 11th year of Yongle, the word "imperial edict" was engraved on the left imperial tablet of the Imperial Monument Pavilion, which was a legal proclamation prohibiting outsiders from disturbing the Dojo. In the same year, Judy in Ming Taizu rebuilt Wudang Mountain, with Zixiao Palace as one of the key palaces, and the main building Zixiao Hall was also rebuilt. In the 16th year of Yongle, the inscription "Da Yue Taihe Mountain Road Palace Monument" was engraved on the right imperial monument of the Imperial Monument Pavilion, which recorded the architecture of Wudang Mountain. Jiajing was expanded in the thirty-first year. Qing Jiaqing was overhauled for more than ten times from eight to twenty-five years.
Located in the northwest and facing southeast, the Purple Palace has 29 buildings. Five terraces are symmetrically arranged on the central axis of the building. From top to bottom, there are Dragon and Tiger Hall, Monument Pavilion, Shifang Hall, Zixiao Hall and Parents Hall. Both sides are divided into three courtyards by buildings such as houses, forming a group of temple buildings with clear priorities. The two wings in the middle of the palace are quadrangular Taoist houses.
While traveling, we met a group of pilgrims in a village in Fujian, who were making incense. We watched it for a while. Taoist priests are practicing according to the rules, old pilgrims are kneeling and chanting scriptures, and young people are smoking and chatting outside. Yes! The villagers' actions can be consistent, but their performances are different.
The Purple Temple was the headquarters of Marshal He Long during the Great Revolution. It is well preserved now, but it can't be visited inside.
There are many water tanks in the temple, which are said to belong to fire fighters. There is no big water tank here, only the ancient buildings in Dashuijing Ancient Buildings, and each temple has several bottomless wells.
The 47-hour tour of Wudang Mountain is over.
This trip has fulfilled my long-cherished wish. Although there is wind and rain, the smell in the rain is hard to find.
"The mountain is not high, but there are immortals." Wudang Mountain is not as beautiful as Huangshan Mountain, as majestic as Mount Tai, and as steep as Huashan Mountain. However, its ancient Taoist temple and profound Taoist culture attracted tourists and pilgrims from all over the world to visit and worship, and many monks came to practice in an endless stream, making Wudang Mountain famous all over the world and attracting countless heroes.
Although Wudang Mountain is a tourist attraction, its commercial development is not strong (except the Golden Street in Wudang, in the scenic area), and the folk customs of citizens and businessmen are quite mellow. There are no shops and restaurants everywhere, and there are no noisy hawking and annoying dragging people. They all followed the guests. The service attitude of the staff in the scenic spot is also good, and the bus in the scenic spot leaves on time, clean and tidy. The mobile phone I left on the scenic bus is still kept in the dispatching center of the scenic bus, so that it can be returned to its original owner, appease my hanging heart and continue the rest of the trip. I am deeply grateful to which driver.
Although Wuyishan is a mountainous area with high mountains, deep forests and steep roads, it is also a competent tourist destination for the elderly. First, the traffic is convenient, and all the scenic spots have direct traffic. There is also a cable car on the golden roof of Tianzhu Peak. The steps of climbing the mountain are neither high nor steep, and the steps are even. Secondly, there are many kinds of accommodation prices that Feng Jian can choose freely. My suggestion is that two days and two nights on the mountain are just right (of course, a detailed tour is another matter). Accommodation can choose Nanyan, where there are hotels and homestays at various prices, and it is the starting point of transportation and convenient by car. It would be better if you want to hike Tianzhu Peak. In addition, Qiongtai is the best place, where it is most convenient to take a cable car to the Golden Hall of Tianzhu Peak, but it is not convenient to see other scenic spots.
