What does the automobile tp sensor mean?

1, TP sensor is a throttle position sensor. The main function is to detect whether the engine is in idle condition or load condition, acceleration condition or deceleration condition;

2.TP sensor is mainly used to detect the throttle opening, and then transmit the detected data to the on-board computer board, which determines the fuel injection quantity of the injector according to the data;

3. The throttle position (TP) sensor is a three-wire variable resistance sensor, which is installed on the throttle body and operated by the throttle shaft. The throttle position (TP) sensor is used to provide PCM with an electrical signal corresponding to the throttle opening. PCM uses this input number to calculate fuel injection quantity and ignition timing, and is used to control hydraulic torque converter, shift indicator light, EVAP fuel evaporation system, exhaust gas recirculation and air conditioning.

Fault of throttle position sensor Cause of fault: loose sensor pin or poor contact. The sensor is damaged and the resistance value is wrong. The control circuit board is out of order and cannot receive and send control signals.
