Brief Introduction of Wang Ji Temple Site in Xiaobaishan

The site of Wang Ji Temple in Xiaobaishan, Jilin City is a relic left over from the Qing Dynasty, and it is also the only place dedicated to the God of Changbai Mountain in the Qing Dynasty. It has a high value of literature and history research, belongs to minority scenic spots, and is worth punching in as a souvenir. Here, I will give you a detailed introduction.

Xiaobaishan, Jilin City

In Jiangcheng Jilin City, I often hear local people proudly talk about "Feng Shui". They think that Jilin occupies the "Feng Shui Treasure House" of "Zuo Qinglong-Longtan Mountain, You Baihu-Xiaobaishan, Former Suzaku-Suzaku Mountain and Later Xuanwu-Xuantianling". Because of my interest, I have been to Longtan Mountain, Zhuque Mountain, Xuantianling Mountain and Dongtuan Mountain many times, but I have never been there. So choose a good route, prepare to climb Xiaobaishan, and feel the posture known as White Tiger Mountain.

Because the first time I went to Xiaobaishan, I could only find it by my own imagination. After crossing the Wende River Bridge, I walked 500 meters ahead and saw a fork in the road, vaguely seeing a hill. I felt that this might be Xiaobaishan, so I went straight over.

Elms and mangroves in the mountains are mostly secondary forests, and the branches of mangroves and old elms in the mountains are irregular, showing a vigorous posture. Some pine trees, linden trees and birch trees are straight, thin and tall, standing in rows, showing a tenacious vitality.

It is said that Xiaobaishan is the remains of the majestic Changbai Mountain. There is only one winding hill and three peaks, the highest of which is 34 1 m above sea level. Its overall shape is like a crouching tiger with its head north and tail south, so it is called White Tiger Mountain. In the history of our country, feudal dynasties have the custom of offering sacrifices to famous mountains and rivers.

Because of the underdeveloped technology at that time, people from the upper rulers to the ordinary people were amazed at the famous mountains and rivers that existed in the world, which made him feel mysterious, endowed him with sacred colors and full of worship psychology. In addition, in order to maintain their dominance, the rulers dressed themselves as the embodiment of the son of God. Therefore, worshipping famous mountains and rivers became a major event in political life at that time. The Qing Dynasty is no exception, and the sacrifice of the Five Mountains is its legal content.

It is the creation of the Qing government to list Changbai Mountain as a sacrificial mountain. Changbai Mountain is the birthplace of ancestors of Qing Dynasty.

I'm not going to climb Xiaobaishan to pay homage, but to visit and explore the Wangjitang built in the Qing Dynasty. Xiaobaishan Manchu is called "Wen De He En" or "Wen De He En", which means "sacrificial board" and also means offering sacrifices to mountains.

Standing on the northern peak of Xiaobaishan, you can see the scenery of southern Jilin. The northern peak of Xiaobaishan is Hutou Mountain, and the north of the peak is a cliff as high as tens of meters, which is quite dangerous. It's just that the cliff is covered with trees, which makes people feel less thrilling.

Standing on the platform of Wang Ji Temple, I looked around. Xiaobaishan is an independent hill. You can vaguely see Longtan Mountain in Zuoqinglong to the north, and Linjiangmen Bridge with a camera is close at hand. Looking west, a big river flows slowly, and there are many tall buildings along the river; Looking south, the mountains are towering, and the outline can also be seen in the plump Dongshan Mountain at an altitude of 1000 meters. Ji-Cao Expressway passes through the mountains; Looking eastward, the plain is at the foot, the plastic shed is silvery white in the sun, and the ring expressway is in the middle. The view here is wide and people are comfortable.

On the North Peak, I took some photos to prove that I have been to Xiaobaishan. There is a depression between the northern peak and the southern peak of Xiaobaishan, and the mountain road is relatively flat by the cliff. Continue southbound to climb Nanfeng. Nanfeng's path is paved on the ridge, and the narrowest place is only 1 meter. Among the trees on the south side, the grass floating on the ground is still green. Although the mountain is steep, it is not far away, and it will climb Nanfeng soon.

On the top of Nanshan stands a steel tripod reflecting the elevation, on which a tweeter is hung. Next to it, a lightning rod was installed on a pine pole that was invaded by oil. The most surprising thing is that there is a brick-concrete bunker on the top of the mountain. On the way into the bunker, there is an elm tree with a big bowl. It seems that this bunker has been built for at least 40 years.

Standing on the south peak, the view is very broad, the green hills curl and the distant mountains are like wearing, which is a beautiful scenery of the north. At the foot of the mountain, Wende River twists and turns, and finally joins Songhua River. Two sparkling rivers surround Xiaobaishan.

Looking up at the small white mountain in the distance, you will see an isolated circular outline. In fact, the overlapping of mountains is easy to deceive people, and so is Xiaobaishan. When I first saw Xiaobaishan, two peaks stood side by side. As I approached, I clearly saw three peaks embracing each other. Wang Ji Temple is located in the middle of Beifeng, and Nanfeng is next to it, next to the mountain dome. Can be said to know the beauty of it.

At this point in history, it's time to go down the mountain. Looking back at Xiaobaishan, the truncated hill seems to be a dream. Because I saw a highway at the foot of the mountain, I took a shortcut when I got off and chose to get off the north slope. When I came to the foot of the mountain, I saw that I had taken many wrong roads. Fortunately, I didn't come for nothing, and I really climbed Xiaobaishan.
