I read "The Mystery of the History of Yongzheng Emperor's Mausoleum"
Mr. Xu Xin's tenth monograph "The Mystery of the History of Yongzheng Emperor's Mausoleum" has been published by Liaoning People's Publishing House and distributed nationwide. Thanks to Mr. Xu Xin for donating the book so that I could have a preview of it even though the local bookstore was out of stock.
Thanks to the love of Mr. Xu Xin, I read the first draft of "The Mystery of the History of Emperor Yongzheng's Mausoleum" in 2010. However, after reading the book, I found that the final draft had been greatly changed from the first draft. It has changed the writing technique of pure narrative in the past, and is more about dialectics and analysis of archives and wild history notes.
The first time I read Mr. Xu Xin's work was in 2004. I came across "Into the Tomb of Xiang Fei" at Xinhua Bookstore. I took it home like a treasure. From the first page of this book I didn’t pick up the book and read the whole book in one breath, like drinking from a sweet spring. Mr. Xu Xin's books always maintain a clear and fascinating narrative. Although there is no lack of textual research, the reading is gentle and never boring, making every reader feel like they are placed in the historical development of the Eastern and Western Tombs.
With the popularity of film and television dramas, Emperor Yongzheng has become a household name. The stories associated with it have also become interesting stories for people after dinner. A classmate of mine, a fashionable and lovely beauty, suddenly came to me one day and asked why Yongzheng was buried in Xiling. From this little incident, we can see that because of the popularity of film and television dramas, many people want to know the real reason why Emperor Yongzheng moved his mausoleum.
The book "The Mystery of the History of Emperor Yongzheng's Mausoleum" begins with the death of Emperor Yongzheng, and also discusses the succession of Emperor Yongzheng. Although these two mysterious cases in the Qing Dynasty are clichés, Mr. Xu Xin has brought out many new ideas, which is refreshing for us. Although the conclusion is still debatable, Mr. Xu Xin undoubtedly proposed some research directions.
"The Mystery of the History of Emperor Yongzheng's Mausoleum" No matter how much history of the current dynasty is mentioned, the most important thing is the tomb of Emperor Yongzheng. Why did Emperor Yongzheng abandon the Eastern Tomb and build the Western Tomb? This topic seems to be familiar to Qing Tomb researchers and enthusiasts, but some big-name experts are really not sure. So this raises a question of making the best use of everything. If you think you know this piece of history better than the author, you don’t have to buy it, but you should remain humble and recommend it to people who don’t know this piece of history.
The Tailing Mausoleum of Emperor Yongzheng. Reading "The Mystery of the History of Emperor Yongzheng's Mausoleum" shows that it is the first mausoleum of the Western Tombs of the Qing Dynasty. The mausoleum originally has a layer of mystery, and the first mausoleum attracts people's attention. In addition, it is the first mausoleum of Yongzheng Emperor. There must be something extraordinary about the emperor's tomb. Mr. Xu Xin sorted out a series of mysteries of Tailing for us from many secret documents of the Qing Dynasty and the writings of predecessors. What is the difference between the individual buildings of the Xiling and Dongling Shoulings? Any details that careful visitors missed in Tailing can be found and filled in in "The Mystery of the History of Emperor Yongzheng's Mausoleum". Feng shui has always been associated with funerals. Mr. Xu Xin not only gave us a detailed analysis of the feng shui of Tailing and Xiling in "The Mystery of the History of Yongzheng Emperor's Mausoleum", but also uniquely explored the feng shui of the emperor's corpse.
Taitung Tomb is the most standard tomb of a queen in the Qing Dynasty. It is also a mysterious place where the Qing palace is buried. It is an unopened area of the Qingtung Tomb. A courtyard wall and a gate block too many little-known secrets. . Through the extension of Taitung Tomb, Mr. Xu Xin unfolded for us the same issues related to Yongzheng and Qianlong that troubled different groups of people at that time and now. There are many secret cases, which seem reasonable on the surface, but there are unreasonable depths. There are so many unspeakable hidden things between what is reasonable and what is not reasonable. Reading "The Mystery of the History of Emperor Yongzheng's Mausoleum" will definitely make you suddenly enlightened and have a new understanding of the death, ascension and birth of the three emperors of Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong. To borrow the opening words of CCTV's "Ziwu Letters"? Good books need to be shared, and reading enriches life. ?Wish "The Mystery of the History of Emperor Yongzheng's Mausoleum" a big hit!
