Brief introduction of Qingfeng building
According to the records of Shunde prefecture, Qingfeng Building was built in Tang and Song Dynasties, but was later destroyed by the war.
In the third year of Ming Dynasty (A.D. 1467), Li Guangheng, the magistrate of Shunde, spared no expense to rebuild it.
The rebuilt Qingfeng Tower has a typical architectural style of Ming Dynasty, and it is a double-eave and mountain-leaning structure. The building is more than 70 feet high, with a masonry platform below and a bucket arch and cornices above, which is magnificent.
Qingfenglou is a provincial key cultural relics protection unit in Hebei Province and the origin of Xingtai City. County buildings have been one of the twelve scenic spots in Shunde since ancient times.
Qingfeng building is divided into three floors.
The first floor is made of brick and stone with an arched door in the middle. The door can be opened to vehicles and pedestrians, and it is also a good place to enjoy the cool in summer.
The second floor is surrounded by blue bricks, the main hall is centered, and the front and rear doors are opposite.
The wall in the southwest corner of the hall is inlaid with poems, paintings and stone carvings of four seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter.
It's a pity that spring scenery is lost, and now there are only three pieces left in summer, autumn and winter.
In addition, 10 stone carvings carved in Qingfeng Building are stored indoors.
The third floor is made of wood with doors on all sides. There is a huge plaque under the eaves, which reads "Qingfeng Building" in three Chinese characters. It is vigorous, beautiful and elegant, and it was originally written by a prime minister in the Ming Dynasty.
If you board, stand at the highest place and look at the railing, there are many shops in the city, the Taihang Mountain is lush, and Xingzhou has a panoramic view, so it is called "Wangjun Building", which is one of the "eight sights of Xingtai" in the old days.
Li Guangheng built this building, aiming at boarding for recreation, "gathering guests to board in political leisure, digging four holes, and wandering in the distance", or dancing and writing, and reciting poems.
However, his political purpose is very clear, "entertainment", and he does not forget to serve the country faithfully. He vigorously advertised: "The royal wind is quiet, from the emperor's side, I will announce it first, and the octupole will broadcast it." "Protect me from the map and be a rock together."
The name "Qingfeng Building" came from this.
Today, the Qingfeng Tower, which stands in the center of the city, has become a major cultural relic landscape in the urban area for visitors to browse and appreciate.
