History of Meteorological Map Development
At present, every county in China has a weather station, and some communes have established weather stations or weather stations. The weather forecast of China must include data of parts of the Asia-Pacific region in addition to meteorological observation data from all parts of China. Therefore, all countries in the world carry out meteorological observation at the same time, namely 0: 00, 6: 00, 12 and 18, namely 8: 00, 14: 00, 20: 00 and 2: 00 Beijing time. Meteorological stations will quickly transmit meteorological data such as air pressure, temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, cloud cover and precipitation observed at the same time to designated receiving stations (provincial and municipal meteorological stations or central meteorological stations) by telecommunication, and then the communication center will release the collected meteorological data to domestic and foreign countries.
After receiving meteorological data from all over the country and abroad, local meteorological stations quickly filled out a blank map of the mainland with various prescribed symbols. Then analyze the weather conditions in various places (according to the symbolic graphics), draw various isolines (isobars and isotherms), and various weather systems (high pressure, low pressure, cold front, warm front, etc. ) are marked. This kind of map is a weather map.
