Zhou Jun Ancient City is a cultural relic protection unit in Hubei Province.

Zhou Jun ancient city

Located in Xun County, danjiangkou city, the site of the Ming Dynasty. According to historical records, Tucheng was built in the Eastern Han Dynasty. In the fifth year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1372), the masonry was completed in the second year of Ming Dynasty (1622). There are Jingle Palace, Chenghuang Temple and other buildings in the city. In 1960s, Danjiangkou Reservoir was submerged due to the first-phase construction. After 20 1 1 2 underwater archaeological exploration, it is generally rectangular, with an east wall of 940m, a south wall of 750m, a west wall of 838m, a north wall of 740m and a wall height of 2-4m. The city site is well preserved and has important academic value.
