Foreword:

? Each of us hopes that we can have Ford, have a successful career, have a happy family and have a smooth sailing. So, since our hearts can give birth to this idea, what should we do to achieve it? Today, let's learn some wisdom from the Tao Te Ching and get some insights from the stories of the ancients.

people's blessings are not predestined, but we ask for them ourselves. How to beg? This requires practice and starts a lifelong practice!

blessings need to be repaired, and virtues need to be done. Life will be better!

Heaven itself does not favor anyone, but it often favors kind people.

Let's share a story:

During the Spring and Autumn Period, Qin Mugong lost a horse, which was caught by the people in Qishan, killed and then eaten.

The local officials arrested these people in a short time, but instead of punishing them, Qin Mugong invited them to drink.

He said that eating horse meat will hurt your health if you don't drink.

Later, when Qin Mugong attacked the State of Jin, he was surrounded by the enemy. When the people heard that Qin Mugong was surrounded, they each picked up their own weapons and fought to the death for Qin Mugong to repay Qin Mugong's kindness in letting them eat horses and drink.

finally, Qin Mugong captured the marquis of Jin and returned to the state of Qin.

Qin Mugong's single-minded benevolence saved both the people and himself.

People's hearts are full of flesh. If you are kind to others, others will naturally be kind to you.

In this story, Qin Mugong shows us what is practice, what is fortune and what is charity. In fact, in the Book of Songs, it is also written that "always say what you want to do, and seek more happiness for yourself", which means that one should always reflect on one's behavior, always do good deeds, and not do evil deeds, so as to get good returns for oneself. It's just that many people only remember "asking for more happiness" and forget that there is another sentence in front of them, so they naturally go astray and use this word wrongly.

water is good at nourishing all things without contending with them. It stays in places that people don't like, so it is closest to the Tao.

Next, I would like to share a story with you:

Fan Zhongyan of the Song Dynasty once bought a house in Suzhou. Mr. Feng Shui said that this house has good feng shui and will definitely become a big official in the future.

When Fan Zhongyan heard this, he immediately donated his house to become a school in Suzhou.

He feels that he can't monopolize such good geomantic omen. He should share this good fortune with the people of Suzhou, so that more scholars in Suzhou can go to high school, so as to change everyone's situation.

Good people do things that benefit everything without competing with people.

Fan Zhongyan has a famous saying that has been passed down to this day, "Worry about the world first, and then enjoy the world".

It is this quality and spirit that makes Fan Zhongyan's family prosperous.

When many families were submerged in the long river of history, the Fan family lasted for 8 years. Until today, we are still familiar with this famous saying, and we often hear the sound of "Worry about the world first, and then enjoy the world".

People who are virtuous conform to nature without intention, while those who are virtuous conform to nature with intention.

True virtue and kindness are not made deliberately, but are made naturally from the heart. Just like that sentence: the heart is good, although good is not rewarded; No intention to do evil, although evil is not punished.

We should do good for the sake of goodness, not deliberately doing good for the sake of getting blessings or rewarding them.

Kindness should have truth and love.

Mencius once said that the goodness of human nature is even worse than water. It means that human kindness is like water flowing down naturally.

a person does good only because he can't bear it, in order to help others, not to get benefits.

in order to get good returns, people who deliberately do good are driven by interests, and such good is not good.

Theft and robbery are all evil deeds driven by interests.

therefore, goodness needs truth.

To deal with problems, we should start from the easy places, and to achieve greatness, we should start from the subtle places.

The difficult things in the world must start from the simple places. Starting from small things, "Don't do small things with kindness", and gradually accumulating, the mentality will naturally change. Over the years, people's appearance and temperament will also undergo earth-shaking changes. Those kindness and gentleness are all on their faces. Looking at this kind-hearted elder, who will disrespect him and love him?

the ancients said that "accumulating virtue damages virtue". A person's good fortune is not earned, but accumulated virtue.

When we practice to a certain extent and accumulate blessings to a certain extent, we will gradually have more happiness and beauty.
