What will happen if the throttle is too dirty? Affect the idle speed of the car

Usually dirty throttle means that the air intake is almost dirty and should be cleaned.

An engine with dirty air intake will shake.

Increased fuel consumption

What will happen to the car throttle? According to the load of the engine, the air intake is controlled. Throttle is a device on the engine intake system, which is a circular steel plate with a shaft in the middle and controlled by throttle cable. Therefore, when we step on the accelerator, we actually increase the air intake, not the fuel supply. When the air intake increases, the computer will instruct the fuel injector to increase the fuel supply. When the engine is running at low speed, due to the small throttle opening and the small air intake (flow), some extremely fine dust (not filtered by the air filter) and exhaust gas in the engine valve chamber will be deposited on the throttle and the air intake of the idle speed control valve, resulting in the problems of slow throttle response (reduced actual air intake) and unstable idle speed.

What are the faults of the automobile direct-acting accelerator? Trouble: A modern car (2.0L) came to the repair shop for repair because it couldn't get up quickly.

Fault detection: it is found that the speed is only 30-50km/h during the test run, and there is a phenomenon of fast and slow driving, which is called automobile acceleration. The owner told me that this car used to have this problem, but now it can't run at all. Idle car phenomenon often occurs in idle working conditions, and acceleration and idle car failure are rarely encountered. In order to analyze this phenomenon more accurately, we lifted the vehicle lift and did an accelerated test. When the accelerator pedal is depressed slowly, the engine speed rises, and when the engine speed rises to nearly 2000r/min, it stops rising. Continuing to press the accelerator pedal is ineffective, but the engine speed drops. Watch carefully when you step on the gas pedal. When the speed drops to 1500r/min, the speed starts to rise again, and drops repeatedly until it is close to 2000r/min, which is completely out of the control of the throttle. After the throttle is released, it enters the idle working condition, and the speed is very stable (800 rpm).

According to past experience, can it be that the oil cut-off function is being started? This idea urges us to prove it. So we removed a fuel injector plug and connected it to the test lamp, and repeated the acceleration test above. Sure enough, it was found that when the engine speed rose to 2000 r/min, the test light went out, and when the engine speed dropped to 1.500 r/min, the test light came on again, and the engine speed fluctuated rhythmically with the turning on and off of the test light, thus confirming the activation of the fuel cut-off function. There are three situations when the computer activates the high-speed oil cut-off function: ① ② High-speed oil cut-off; ③ Slow down and cut off the oil. It is believed that this car should belong to the category of deceleration and fuel cut-off. Although it is accelerating rather than decelerating at this time, the computer determines that the fuel cut-off function will be enabled as long as the speed exceeds the limit speed when idling.

After testing and analysis, the problem must be the idle switch, and it is likely that the idle switch was closed during acceleration. Because this car is a direct-acting idle control, its idle switch is not in the throttle position sensor, but at the top of the telescopic rod of the idle motor. When idling, the top is always close to the throttle plate, and the idle switch is always closed. When accelerating, the throttle is driven by the throttle cable to open the throttle flap, the top end of the telescopic rod of the idle motor is separated from the throttle plate, and the idle switch is turned on. In order to confirm the state of the idle switch, the No.3 pin (idle switch signal) of the position sensor connector of the idle motor is measured by consulting the data, and the result is really consistent with the expected result. The switch is always closed in both idling and accelerating conditions. After inspection, it was found that the top of the telescopic rod of the idle motor was distorted and the contact switch could not be opened. After simple treatment, the switch function is restored and the fault disappears.

Summary: On the surface, the acceleration of this car does not conform to the logic of slowing down and cutting off oil, but it does conform to the conditions of slowing down and cutting off oil. This car is always judged as idle by the computer because the idle switch is normally closed. When the acceleration exceeds 2000r/min, the computer thinks that the speed exceeds the idle limit, so the computer uses the fuel cut-off function to control the speed-up and fuel cut-off control. Because of the function of fuel cut-off and oil supply recovery, the engine power has changed obviously, leading to idling acceleration.

Fault summary: Engine idling is common, but it is not easy to happen under acceleration. Accelerated idle speed is a kind of driving state with slow speed law, which is essentially different from fault phenomena such as acceleration jitter, acceleration riding and acceleration jumping.

What are the symptoms of automobile throttle failure? Hard failure:

The resistance part of potentiometer is formed by spraying a layer of carbon film on polyester substrate, which is actually a very low-level preparation process with low wear resistance. To put it bluntly, it is not as good as the potentiometer we usually add!

The sliding contact consists of a row of opposing claws made of fine steel. Attention! It's claws! This is simply worse! In addition, there is no protective agent on the carbon film, and the falling toner leads to poor contact, which is inevitable!

I once repaired a scraped carbon film, 70 thousand kilometers, and the master's feet were owed!

Soft fault

People often worry about cleaning the throttle, because most of the time the throttle is too low. Air flows through the gap of the throttle at high speed (tens to hundreds of meters per second), and the influence of dust on the airflow exceeds the adjustment ability of the throttle.

What faults can be caused by adding antifreeze to the automobile accelerator? I don't know why the accelerator will touch the antifreeze. I don't know how much you got in. My personal suggestion is that automobile antifreeze is corrosive to some extent. If you touch the throttle, you should clean it immediately to avoid damaging the throttle and causing it to malfunction. And there are some sensors near the throttle, which will also be affected. If these parts are abnormal, it will directly lead to the wrong air-fuel ratio of the car and affect the engine working condition. It is recommended to check and clean up as soon as possible.

Will there be a problem with the car throttle that will affect the lighting of the car fault light? That's for sure. Throttle provides the most basic engine load signals, such as idle speed, acceleration, uniform speed and deceleration. The signals of various working conditions are provided by the throttle sensor!

What are the symptoms of throttle failure? This question does not belong to the computer network, but I will help you answer it. Throttle failure will lead to air tightness in the cylinder and leakage of mixed gas. The pressure in the cylinder is not enough, so it is very difficult to ignite (there is also high voltage, that is, the pressure in the cylinder and the compression temperature of mixed gas can not meet the ignition conditions). In severe cases, the cooler can't touch the car, the combustion is incomplete, the locomotive has no power, and it can also cause fart (the exhaust pipe slams).

There is no regulation on how to clean the accelerator of a car. It doesn't matter if you don't wash for ten years. First, the region. Second, the quality of oil. There is only one kind of gasoline abroad. I haven't seen a used car in Japan for ten years. I often buy a used car in Japan. The accelerator has not been washed for 3-5 years. I opened a garage abroad for ten years before I washed the throttles of two cars. There is no need to wash the throttle indiscriminately.

What are the symptoms of a car with dirty throttle? Hello, the initial performance of dirty throttle is unstable idle speed at the start or engine speed drops to 500 rpm when the red light brakes, and occasionally it will stall. If it is serious, there will be no car. I hope my answer is helpful to you, and I wish you a happy life!

How to wash the accelerator of a car is very simple, but the symptoms of different models are different after washing. Most cars need computer reset after washing.
