Huanglong Cave in Wudang Mountain is located on the road from Wudang Ancient Shinto Jinding, in the cliff of Zigai Peak. The air in the cave is dry but not dry, moist but not wet, and the four seasons are quiet and cool, which is the place that people of all ages yearn for.

Huanglong Cave is actually a natural rock house built by several generations. There are Huanglong Hall, Zhenwu Pavilion, Wangyao Hall, Shenquan Pavilion and other buildings. There are springs in the cave, which are inexhaustible in four seasons. Legend has it that a Huanglong ascended to heaven, and Huanglong left the elixir to thank him for his upbringing here. It is said that the elixir makes the water here clear and sweet and can cure all diseases.

Wudang Mountain is rich in herbal resources, with seven leaves and one flower, a bowl of water by the river and a pearl on the top of its head. Gastrodia elata, Trogopterori, Golden Hairpin and other precious medicinal materials are all produced in Wudang Mountain.

Li Shizhen, a great doctor of the Ming Dynasty, lived here when he went to Wudang Mountain to collect herbs. He also revised the Compendium of Materia Medica of Huanglong Cave, which included more than 800 kinds of precious medicinal materials in Wudang Mountain.

Huanglong Cave is associated with Wudang medicine. Wudang Mountain has always had the saying of "ten ways and nine doctors", which is related to their long-term exploration of longevity. On the Shinto below Huanglong Cave, there is a wooden pavilion that climbs all the way up, and people usually rest here. Those who rest here will see four plaques above the pavilion as long as they look up. Two of them-"world-famous" four characters, and the other two write how to take medicine in Huanglong Cave, what diseases to treat and so on. Some experts believe that this is a herbal billboard in the Ming Dynasty.

Wudang Mountain, also known as Taihe Mountain, is located in Shiyan City, Hubei Province, with a total scenic area of 3 12 square kilometers.
