On the east side of Piluge in Tanzhe Temple, the "Er Qiao Magnolia" planted in Ming Dynasty is a famous flower in Beijing, which has a history of more than 400 years.

It is said that it was imported from abroad. Because the petals are pink and white, very delicate and charming. Some people compare it with Da Qiao and Xiao Qiao of Soochow in the Three Kingdoms period, hence the name "Er Qiao Magnolia".

In front of the Piluge Temple, there are two trees, one black and the other white. This tree was planted in Liao Dynasty, and it is a first-class ancient tree.

There are many ancient trees in the courtyard behind the Daxiong Hall of Tanzhe Temple, among which two Miluo rivers and two tall ancient ginkgo trees are the most eye-catching and full of legends. This tree is native to ancient India and is very rare in China.
