Taizhou Tiantai Mountain one-day tour route.

Hangzhou-Shaoxing-Tiantai Mountain-Guoqing Temple-Shiliang Waterfall-Huading Temple

On the first day, I drove to Tiantai in less than two hours and enjoyed the third-tier scenery. It’s really good; after arriving at Tiantai, we checked into the Tiantai Hotel in order to be closer to Guoqing Temple;

The next day, we started to get in touch with the magical sky road at 30 degrees north latitude.

The existence of this road is destined to be extraordinary, and its location is located near 30 degrees north latitude, the most mysterious place on earth.

Nearly 1,800 years ago, Gao Dao Ge Xuan came here to open up Fairy Mountain, and along the winding mountain road, he climbed to Guiyun Cave in Huading Mountain and planted ancient tea;

1,600 years ago, Xie Lingxun, the originator of landscape poetry, traveled to Tiantai Mountain and brought ancient Huading tea to Tianzhu under the West Lake in Hangzhou, which led to today's world-famous Longjing tea

1,400 years ago, China's first Buddhist Zong---the wise master, the founder of the Tiantai Sect, set foot on the magical and magnificent land of Tiantai Mountain. He spent ten years on a tutu journey to seek enlightenment, and finally subdued his inner demons at the prayer platform of Huading Mountain and achieved great enlightenment;

900 years ago, Zhang Boduan, the founder of the Southern Taoist Sect, started the path of cultivation and changed the practice of outer elixir to inner elixir; 399 years ago, the traveling saint Xu Xiake entered Tiantai Mountain for the first time. The route he took on foot was basically consistent with the route of this hill climb race.

So this is a cultural road, an eye-catching road, a health-preserving road, and a Xiake road for Chinese mountain bikes to worship Buddha and ask questions!

24 kilometers is the distance you measure the earth.

798 meters is the height you need to climb to the top.

This time Tiantai Mountain is dedicated to you, there are 6 beautiful scenery that we are proud of!

The first stop: the royal temple---Guoqing Temple breathes in the fresh air and is ready to go

In 598 AD, Master Yang Guangcheng, King of Jin Dynasty, ordered the construction of Guoqing Temple according to his last wish. In 1733, the eleventh year of Yongzheng's reign, Guoqing Temple was rebuilt according to the imperial edict, which is the main building we see today. In 1973, with the concern of Premier Zhou, the state allocated 300,000 yuan and transported more than 90 national treasure-level cultural relics from Beijing, including a 68-meter-tall bronze statue of Sakyamuni and the Eighteen Arhats carved from nanmu from the Yuan Dynasty. Guoqing Temple has several magical details:

1. The temple door opens to the east, which is rare in Chinese temples. Whether it is the "Feng Shui Theory" or the "Jiangnan Garden Theory", it is only for the royal family. The Zhaobi that integrates temples and folk architecture is refreshing;

2. Prince, patron saint, Taoist priest? The Jialan Hall of Guoqing Temple is dedicated to Wang Qiao, the crown prince of Zhou Ling. The harmony of Buddhism and Taoism is perfectly reflected here;

3. As the birthplace of Hehe Culture, 3. Xian Palace records magical and beautiful stories. Feng Qian, who rode a tiger in and out, inadvertently became famous as Hanshanzi of Hanshan Temple. Moreover, the architectural style of San Xian Palace is that of a folk courtyard in the south of the Yangtze River during the Southern Dynasties.

4. The ancient plum trees planted in 602 AD witnessed the vicissitudes and changes of Guoqing Temple. However, they were on the verge of withering during the Cultural Revolution. It was not until the spring of 1973 that the lush branches and leaves began to flourish. This year It happened to be the year that the State Council and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs jointly issued a document to allocate 300,000 yuan to rebuild the Guoqing Temple.

5. There are many squirrels in the chief pine viewing area of the four unique temples in Tiantai Mountain: "Guoqing pine, Gaoming bell, tower head wind, and ten thousand year pillar", and there are many pine trees two or three hundred years old. yes.

Second stop: Buddhism and Taoism - Chicheng Mountain

From a distance, the soil is all red, shaped like a castle. Whenever the morning sun shines, the mountain is filled with purple air. It is shrouded in rays of light, hence the name "Akagi Qixia". There is the sixth cave of Taoism - Yujing Cave. Going east from the small door is the prototype of Jigong - Secretary Rock; going down from Jigong's reading room - Wuyue Tower, is the architectural wonder - Jigong West Courtyard , there are two major mountain springs: Jigong, Longchi and Fengnum. Continuing to the east is the Jigong Hall (Jigong East Courtyard), which contains the statue closest to the real Jigong and various sculptures of Jigong. Follow Baibujun and turn right to see Ziyun Cave, a famous nunnery in southeastern Zhejiang.

The third stop: Return to Qiongtai without looking at the valley——Qiongtai Fairy Valley

After the race starts from the Haikeng parking lot at the foot of Chicheng Mountain, we will ride for about There is a gentle slope of 500 meters, followed by a steep slope of 200 meters. After riding for about three kilometers, you can see Qiongtai Fairy Valley Scenic Area in the distance on the left. The mountain walls on both sides confront each other. The mountains are steep and steep, with various peaks and strange rocks staggered, which become more and more strange the further you go. Riding to this point makes people have endless reveries. The natural harmony and elegant state of the soul of the mountains and the water can make people relax a lot.

The fourth stop: Tongbai Palace, the ancestral palace of the Southern Sect of Taoism

Next, after passing through a gentle slope of about 2 kilometers, there is a difficult 500-meter uphill climb to the cave. You can reach Tongbaishang Reservoir in about 1.5 kilometers (the total distance to here is about 7.3 kilometers). At this time, the front is Tongbai Palace, the ancestral palace of the Southern Taoist Sect. During the Xining reign of Emperor Shenzong of the Song Dynasty (1068-1077), Zhang Ziyang, the founder of the Ziyang sect of the southern sect of Taoism, lived here to practice Taoism and refine elixirs. A long stream flows to the south, with various springs rinsing it, and a waterfall flowing hundreds of feet down. You can watch the snow flying and listen to the wind blowing. After riding here, my body feels clear and clear, as if I am in the immortal class, and the fatigue of climbing is gone.

The fifth stop: the most spectacular sight in the world - Shiliang Waterfall

After going up to Tongbai Shang Reservoir, there is a continuous gentle slope. After the gentle slope, you will encounter the most difficult long steep slope in the whole journey. (estimated to be more than 2 kilometers). There are about 2 kilometers of flat road and small downhill, which are basically undulating roads. The final small uphill is more than 300 meters long. There is a fork here, the track goes to the right, and the scenic spot on the left is Shiliang Waterfall. Shiliang is the essence of the "Tang Poetry Road" in eastern Zhejiang, the destination of the Tang Poetry Road, and the dojo of the Five Hundred Arhats. In the lofty mountains and green valleys, a stone spans the sky, and a waterfall gushes down. "Wind and thunder rise day and night." The color of the waterfall is like frost and snow, and it is as powerful as thunder. The clouds are surging and the waves are surging, and the sound vibrates the trees. It has fascinated literati and poets of all ages and left countless magnificent poems. It is known as "the first wonder in the world". The waterfall is like a pile of snow and beads, and it continues all year round, waving the flag and shouting for you to achieve great results. Not far from Shiliang Waterfall, there is a pot-shaped waterfall, which is bronze in color. The waterfall water falls into the pot, swirls around, spurts out from the rock gap shaped like the spout, and pours into the abyss, forming a blue pool, hence the name "Bronze Pot Drip". The landscape is unique and extraordinary, which makes people daydream.

The sixth stop: the highest peak of the Tiantai Mountains---Huading Forest Park

After going up to the top of Daxingkeng Ridge, there is a stone road, ***5 sections, and the two stone slabs in the middle The road is dangerous going downhill, so please be careful! The road to Shuangxi Lingtou is also up and down. After reaching the top of Shuangxi Ling, it is a gentle uphill climb. Experts can start sprinting here and slowly go uphill for 1 kilometer to the ticket booth in front of Huading Mountain. The last step is the most difficult 1.5 kilometers of the whole journey. About 800 meters is uphill on a stone road. After climbing this slope, you will reach the end point - Huading National Forest Park. This park is famous for its Yunjin Rhododendron and was called "Sala" in ancient times. It covers an area of more than 100 acres, and each tree has a stem of blooming flowers, so it is also called "Thousand-flowered Rhododendron". After Xiaoman, the rhododendrons are in full bloom all over the mountain, as bright as clouds and brocade, dazzling and dazzling. Whenever clouds and mist come, the peaks look like islands. When people walk among them, they are looming, and the scenery among them seems to be there or not. With a good ecological environment and active human protection, standing on the top of the mountain and looking down, you will see a wonderful and ever-changing scene before your eyes. Flowers bloom in the clouds, mist drifts among the flowers, and the clouds and the sea of flowers complement each other. It is really a scene at a time, and the whole scenery is beautiful. No similarities. When you climb up to Guiyunting Pavilion and the weather is clear, you can see the Eightfold Mountain of Tiantai in the distance and enjoy the grandeur and aura of the "Top of the Flower Heart" of the Seventy-Two Lotus Peaks. Below Guiyun Pavilion is Guiyun Cave, which preserves 18 clumps of ancient tea left over from the Three Kingdoms period. From Guiyunting, you can also overlook the Huading Lecture Temple, which was built in 936 and rebuilt on the original site in 1928. There are many very tall ancient fir trees in Jin and Tang Dynasties in front of the Lecture Temple. The largest tree is 7.8 meters high and 4.8 meters in circumference. .
