What is worth buying in Prague?
Unforgettable hot chocolate
In the morning, a ray of sunshine came through the linen curtain. Gently pull it open, the faint sunshine has filled the cold streets of Prague, dazzling, probably because it has just driven away the vast night, slightly tired, and can not let people feel its warmth.
On the quiet street, there are almost no pedestrians, only empty trams occasionally "jingle" past. The whole city is still waking up, and a little coolness comes to mind.
Early morning in Prague
While it was still early, I came to the table, took out the city map prepared by the hotel for tourists, and began to do today's play homework seriously.
The urban area of Prague consists of an old square, a small urban area and a castle area. There are also several characteristic towns around for sightseeing. I'm going to visit the city first that day, and then choose one or two towns to visit according to the situation.
As for whether to stay in this city for a day or a few days, I have no idea. I can only make a decision based on my trip and my feelings about this city that day. This has been my playing principle for the next ten days of travel. )
Prague city map
After finishing my homework, I feel a lot brighter. The helplessness and worry of the previous day have slowly dissipated with the darkness, replaced by a throbbing and excited mood and an attitude of handling things.
I haven't had breakfast yet. By the way, I checked the local food and found a recommended restaurant, which is about 100 meters away from me. So, I simply cleaned up, took my early homework and set off happily for the restaurant.
Louvre coffee house
It is said to be a century-old shop frequented by Kafka and Einstein. In such a short time, I happened to find and come to this restaurant (I didn't miss the shop in front because I didn't finish my homework), which can definitely be regarded as a surprise at the beginning of my trip, and a faint joy came to my mind.
When I came to the restaurant, I found a window seat and looked at the menu that I couldn't understand at all. I'll just call the waiter and ask him to recommend me. Finally, I ordered a cup of hot chocolate and a local dessert.
Delicious breakfast
I have never seen such hot chocolate. I shook the cup slightly from side to side, and the thick cocoa flavor came into view, as if it would soon condense into solid chocolate if I didn't drink it right away.
So, I couldn't wait to take a sip, and the thick slurry melted instantly in my mouth, and the temperature was just right. After passing through my lips and teeth, a small amount of slurry flows into my abdomen and heart along my throat, completely wrapping my heart, and I only feel a warm airflow flowing from my heart to my whole body.
Food can comfort people most, and it can also give people happiness most.
Simple restaurant interior
While enjoying the delicious food, I looked around the restaurant. It was empty when I came, and it was soon crowded with people. I looked at the guests at each table and judged whether they were tourists or locals from their expressions.
Locals are generally reading newspapers leisurely and concentrating on breakfast. Tourists, like me, are always looking at the fresh environment around them. Those eyes with nowhere to put them will meet from time to time and understand each other.
Through the window, I looked at the streets and pedestrians with ecstasy, trying to perceive and imagine whether celebrities like Kafka living in Prague are as leisurely as I am now, meditating and creating wholeheartedly in this or that cafe.
Walking in Prague Square, walking in the alley leading to the old square, there are houses with red roofs and yellow walls on both sides, some simple dark carvings are dotted on the houses, and the spires of nearby small churches occasionally emerge quietly. With Shi Zhuan's neatly paved roads, it leads to the distance. Uniform colors and regular layout make narrow alleys look neat and transparent.
A hanging statue of a man
There are many outdoor cafes and restaurants in the alley near the square. Although they haven't opened the door yet, you can imagine that business here will be booming in the afternoon or evening.

Turning a corner, the road widened, and a large group of people stood on one side of the road, looking up at the opposite sky and whispering from time to time. Looking in their revered direction, the buildings they saw were Prague City Hall and the famous astronomical clock.
This bell tower is not as grand as expected. Simple and low-key. In the storm, it silently records the time and history, watching the ups and downs of the city. In the cold weather without sunshine, the mottled bell tower is full of vicissitudes and a sense of the times.
Standing on the astronomical clock
Further on is the old square in Prague. Because it is a marathon, the square is very lively, surrounded by marathon runners who are competing, and the open space in the middle is the booth of some sponsors. Pedestrians can only walk between the squares through temporary overpasses. This temporary overpass became a commanding height of the old square that day.
Prague Old Square
There is a statue of Jan Huss, a pioneer of religious reform, in the open space of the square. Tyne Church and saint nicholas Church stand in the north of the statue respectively. These two churches have different styles, but they both have high historical value and appreciation value.
Tyne church
Tyne Church is a Gothic building, with two groups of Gothic towers towering into the sky, and several small spires around the main spire, as if flames were burning fiercely. The top of each spire is also decorated with pure gold round bars, which highlights the massiness and vastness of the tower top and strengthens the visual effect of soaring into the sky. These two dark metal towers look like two mountains, covering the square, giving people a feeling of depression, coldness and fear.
St. Nicholas Basilica
The church of Saint Nicholas, which echoes it from a distance, is completely different and belongs to the architecture of Baroque period. Snow-white walls and a small bronze roof, and the surrounding pilasters are decorated with gorgeous statues. The whole church looks exquisite, gentle and beautiful, giving people a feeling of pleasure and stretching. Near it, it seems that Mozart can still be heard playing the harpsichord here
Gunpowder tower
More than 800 meters east of the old square is where the gunpowder tower is located. It was originally one of the gates of Prague 13, and was later named for storing gunpowder. Its structure is quite similar to the astronomical clock and Tyne church. The dark appearance seems to be burnt by something, and it really deserves its name "gunpowder tower".
This road from the old square to the gunpowder tower is just a short track of Prague Marathon. In the past two years, most of my travels have been due to the local marathon. And this is my first time as an audience, standing on the periphery to watch the marathon.
Prague Marathon
Watching the athletes passing by me, regardless of their pace, are concentrating and trying to run forward. I am thinking that the word "marathon" may gradually increase the meaning of "wide" in the meaning of "far". Imagine, what other activities can make thousands of people become the main body of the activity at the same time, * * * participate in and * * * achieve the goal of the activity?
Love in Prague In my impression, Prague is a city closely connected with words such as "encounter", "love" and "romance". My relationship with Prague Square can probably be traced back to a movie I watched in college-Love in Prague.
Stills of the movie Love in Prague
I like the country girl Teresa played by Juliette Binoche in the movie. She is simple and lively, longing for love. For a long time, I didn't think a good girl like Teresa should like playboy Thomas, nor did I think Thomas should deliberately pretend to seduce a good girl Teresa. In my mind, it's a complete waste of time for Tomas to possess Teresa. I think people like Tomas only deserve Sabona like him.
As I grow older, I gradually find that it is usually difficult to distinguish between "love and affection" and "affection and desire", just like the front and back of a coin. The law of "birds of a feather flock together" does not always apply to love, and it is unreasonable to like a person. The feelings and experiences gained in two of a kind may be more important than rational considerations such as whether it is worth it or not.
Of course, the concept of love can especially test a person's character. "Holding your hand and growing old with your son" is certainly an ideal and model in love. However, I don't think this means that the existence and significance of "dew feeling" can be completely denied, and "dew feeling" can't be equated with "starting chaos and eventually abandoning it".
Love, originally not measured by length, feels that this thing may be inherently impulsive and reckless. As for what is emotional morality, or what is the criterion of emotional restraint, I think it can be excavated through the original intention of combining the two and the attitude of aftermath. If it includes "sincerity", "true love" and "cherish", then this is a kind of high-quality emotion worthy of recognition.
Small square
Statue of Jan Hus
Maybe it's because of the hustle and bustle of the marathon, maybe it's because of the exaggeration of literature and art, or maybe it's because I haven't fully entered the state of travel. Prague Square in my eyes is not as romantic, beautiful and sweet as I imagined.
Some things can only be the most beautiful and best if they are left in your mind and in your fantasy. Just like those colorful bubbles blown out in the square, looking at the world through it, the world is colorful and will always burst. After the colors blown in the wind, only the gloomy world is left, and the real dignitaries will be more calm and stronger.
Beautiful night view of the old square
Once, the wishing pool in Prague Square captured the hazy fantasy of romance of a generation of boys and girls.
Now, walking through the cobblestone path of Golden Lane, I met the Renaissance castle. Waiting for the sunset in the ancient town on the Charles Bridge, I finally left my heart in Prague.
The Old Town Square is one of the most important markets for Sino-European trade from 1 1 to 12 century, and it is also the place where political events that determine the historical destiny of the country took place, with a history of 900 years. There are different architectural styles around, including Gothic Tyne Church and Baroque St Nicholas Church.

It is one of the most distinctive ancient buildings in Prague's Old Town Square, built in16th century. Every hour, the window on the clock will automatically open, the bell will ring, and the icon of 12 will appear in the window like a lantern, bowing to people.
Charles Bridge The Charles Bridge, which connects the old town of Prague, the small town and the traffic artery of Prague Castle, is named after King Charles IV of the Czech Republic.
