How much antifreeze should be added to the car at one time?

In small motor vehicles, it is generally sufficient to increase the coolant level appropriately.

Attachment: How to add antifreeze (antifreeze coolant)

After the car cools down, open the engine compartment and check whether the coolant is sufficient. There are upper and lower limit scales of MAX and MIN on the side of the coolant kettle. When the car is cold, add the liquid level when it is lower than the lower limit. The amount to be added is based on the scale on the side of the kettle. As long as it is between the highest (MAX) and the lowest (MIN) good.

Steps for replacing antifreeze (antifreeze coolant)

Step 1: Inspection

First do a comprehensive inspection to see if there are any traces of cracks or leaks in the pipes , focus on checking the bottom bracket pipe (so named because there are five interfaces connecting various parts). Antifreeze must flow through the bottom bracket pipe and then be distributed to different parts of the car to play its role.

Step 2: Cleaning

Drain the old antifreeze, clean the liquid channel with clean water, add clean water to the antifreeze refill tank, and then inject clean water into the tank to keep the clean water continuous. Let the water flow through the engine cooling system, and then idle the car for 3 to 5 minutes to allow the water to circulate. The water flowing out of the water tank will start to be a little light pink. Continue to inject clean water until the water flowing out is clean. Don't forget to remove the heating water pipe and drain the water in the heating water tank

Step 3: Replace the antifreeze

In order to allow the antifreeze to flow into the water tank quickly, drain the water for about After 1 hour, add new antifreeze from the water pipe of the water tank (radiator), add another bucket of antifreeze to the antifreeze tank until the antifreeze tank is almost full, and ignite the car for about 10 minutes. Since part of the air has been removed from the cooling system, the liquid level has dropped. Then add antifreeze. The liquid level only needs to be between the maximum (MAX) and the minimum (MIN).
