How to interpret the wind icon in the weather forecast? What is the direction and strength of the wind?

The direction pointed by the wind direction pole is the direction of the wind, that is, the direction in which the wind blows.

Each dash line on the wind vane represents 5 Knot (level one), and each long dash line represents 10 Knot. The value of all the dash lines on the wind vane is added up to get the wind speed value.
