The Zhuang Lin Basin echoes the main peak scenic spot of Tianzhu Mountain, and the name of Dawangshan also echoes the name of Tianzhu Mountain "Long live the Mountain and Great Huangshan Mountain".

Tianzhu Mountain in Anhui Province has been a famous historical and cultural mountain in China since ancient times. During the Spring and Autumn Period, Tianzhu Mountain was the fief of Anhui Province, also known as Wanshan Mountain and Wangong Mountain, so Anhui Province was called "Anhui" for short. BC 106, when Liu Che, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, made a southern tour, he built an altar to worship Anhui Mountain and named it "Nanyue". When offering sacrifices to Anhui Mountain, the crowd shouted "Long live", so he called Anhui Mountain "Long live the Mountain" and "Dahuangshan". Since then, Tianzhu Mountain has been regarded as the "middle town" of the five major towns and mountains in the southeast, northwest and southeast of China by successive emperors. The other four towns are: Beizhen Yiwulu Mountain (in Liaoning Province), Dongzhen Yishan Mountain (in the middle of Shandong Province), Wu Xizhen Mountain (in Longxian County, Shaanxi Province) and Nanzhen Diji Mountain (in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province).

The main peak of Tianzhu Mountain is 1489.8 meters above sea level, standing upright like a giant column, so it is called Tianzhu Peak, from which the mountain name comes. Li Bai, a great poet in the Tang Dynasty, once wrote a poem "Wanghe Wanggong Mountain" praising the wonders of Tianzhu Mountain. The poem said: "Shan Qi has clouds and beautiful trees. In the Qing Dynasty, Wangong Mountain was absolutely satisfactory ... "The poem" Tianzhu Peak holds the sun and the moon, and the cave door locks the clouds and thunder "by Bai Juyi, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, is a wonderful description of the magnificent scene of Tianzhu Mountain. Taoism worships Tianzhu Mountain as 14 cave, the 57th blessed land; Sanzu Temple in Tianzhu Mountain is one of the cradles of Zen Buddhism. Master Sanzu Sencan, a Buddhist monk, once promoted Buddhism here. There is a tower in the temple for loneliness.

The ancients said: "The mountain is not high, but there are immortals, hence the name." Legend has it that the ancients thought that Dawang Mountain was a treasure trove of geomantic omen, so it was called "Daxian Mountain", and there were Daxian Temple and Baiyi Temple at the foot of the mountain.

Dawang Mountain belongs to the remnant vein of Hutouya Scenic Area, one of the eight scenic spots in Tianzhu Mountain Scenic Area, and together with Hutouya, it forms a north-south mountain range. Hutou Cliff is 913m above sea level. It used to be a place where masters gave lectures, where Taoist Lu made an alchemy in the Song Dynasty, and where he studied in the Ming Dynasty. Scholars of all ages have left countless cliff stone carvings here, praising this feng shui treasure house for health and fitness.

Because Dawangshan is the first barrier between the plain and the Yangtze River system to Tianzhu Mountain, it is a battleground for military strategists in history. According to historical records, in the first year of Xianchun in the Southern Song Dynasty (A.D. 1265), Yuan soldiers invaded the south on a large scale, and half of the rivers and mountains in the Southern Song Dynasty were in jeopardy. Liu Yuan, who was born six kilometers from Shandong, was ordered by the imperial court to hold high the banner of righteousness with Zhang Dexing and Fu in Huaixi to defend the Yuan Army. Liu Yuan took the steep Tianzhu Mountain as its base camp, built Savage Village, and became the village head. According to the mountain situation of Tianzhu Mountain, the five levels of "East, South, West, North and General" were set up, and the troops were divided to settle the field. Then they left the field in spring and entered the village in winter, and sent "Wang" to station troops at the first pass of Dawangshan. Liu Yuan's team often made a surprise attack, and fought against Yuan soldiers for fifteen years, until Liu Yuan was defeated by Yuan Jianger in the second year of Xiangxing (AD 1279) and died in Tianzhu Mountain. In the seventh year of Xuande in the Ming Dynasty (A.D. 1432), Xuanzong named Liu Yuan as the "land protector". The name "Dawangshan" has continued to this day, expressing the local people's respect and love for Liu Yuan, the hero of the Yuan Dynasty. This "Daxian Mountain" is also called "Hudawang Mountain".

Dawangshan has undulating mountains, dense vegetation and unique terrain. It is the junction of Dabie Mountain and the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, which has strangled Dabie Mountain. Out of the north gate of Qianshan County, we set foot on the wide 105 National Road (Tianzhu Mountain Road). As the first mountain range, the Great Wang Feng Peak comes into view, which is the first independent mountain peak on the western horizon of Meicheng Plain. Standing on the top of Dawang Mountain, overlooking the surroundings: Dongguan County, buildings have mushroomed; Looking at the flooded rivers in the south, such as blue satin with silver edges, winding and dragging, running through the north and south; Look at the savage village in the west. The spire temple is beautiful and a sacred place for thousands of years. Looking at Tianzhu Mountain in the north, the peaks are beautiful and foggy, and the mountains are green and strange; The closer to the foot of the mountain, the more rural scenery there is in the village. Therefore, Dawangshan is a natural viewing platform.
